I grew up in the 80's when Gopsel music was VERY choir oriented. Every artist out pretty much had a choir. (i.e Milton Brunson & The Thompson Community Singers, Thomas Whitfield & The Whitfield Company, Rev, John P. Kee & The New Life Community Choir, just to name a few) I really love this song...
Been waiting on this video for YEARS! I can always appreciate the fact this choir wears robes... and I'm a young (24) woman saying this. Choirs today "express themselves" wearing short skirts and tight pants. Don't get me wrong, God looks at the heart not the clothes... but robes just add a sense of sanctity for me. Just saying.
I love a robe too cause everyone look uniformed and Ricky know he eats this department up. Cause they always be on point. I be ready for the colors. Cause he will mix and match something fast

I still to this day have my choir in a robe for the most part because it also show a sign of submission and praise unto God, because it is a holy garment. I was taught that through Ricky Dillard.
I love the melody of the song and the message of it is powerful, I think God for songs like this and being young in college it gets hard sometimes, but I thank god for keeping me in the storm.

@lightbright6970 first thing it called Liturgical /praise dance it part of worship and its art of worship and it a ministry we are ministers to god people we also touch lives and win soul to Christ we also set the atmosphere doing praise and worship and when I say we minister we encourage to those that been hurt or going though in life we are giving them a encourage word though dance using body in motions
