Im telling you, Cal really is your lucky charm! Not only do you find great stuff when hes with you, he is great at finding good stuff on his own! Plus, hes good at holding things, guarding things, and generally being a good helper. I realize that you might edit out a meltdown or two but he seems to be a really good sport, no complaining, no whining. Not many kids his age will hang around for an hour while Mom is going thru everything. Youve raised a little gem 💙 PS, I hope he got a special treat, lol.
Your son is a saint. I would never have went to a garage sale with my mother. They were so boring. That’s when I was a kid. I love them now.

It blows my mind at how wasteful people are. I get that unloading things at a yard sale is a quick way to get rid of things. But, I don't understand buying all those expensive brands and not using them up. I guess it's my depression era granny's influence on me, but I just don't get that level of materialism. It's great for a reseller like you! Recently I have found a vintage Liz Claiborne cashmere dress coat, and a Louis Vuitton men's wool coat, both for $1 each at a Sunday afternoon thrift store sell. I'm going to hang on to them for a few months until weather is cooler.
I know you hear this all the time,im still going to say it.. You are a great mom. Your son is so sweet and the fact he remembers the brands,stays to help,doesn't run off to look for himself to shows the time and dedication you give to your family 😊
He wakes up before me on Saturdays now and is like, “MOM DONT YOU DARE LEAVE WITHOUT ME” 🤣🤣 such a cutie. Thank you so much!! I’m a very imperfect mom with very forgiving kids haha.

WOW! What a haul!! Just a thought...... always keep a couple of Ikea bags in your vehicle. You get some really large hauls, and they will always come in handy, and easily stored. You never know when you'll be stopping at yard sale signs as you are driving around.
Cal is a real trooper, and what a Great Eye he has!! He sure knows his stuff, and exactly what he needs to do to help you.

Your son is going to be financially independent at a super young age! Reselling is probably one of the best jobs for 16-24 because while going to school, trade school, or whatever else they want to do they can do this on the side…. And with his eye and knowledge, yup, definitely can be super successful

Girl! The spider! Lol the love of thrifting really does bring out our braveness. I was at the bins on separate occasions when one of the bins had a lizard in it (I live in Florida). And another time there was a rat running around the bins! That time I almost bailed lol came running at my feet. Thankfully another reseller grabbed it out of there. So thankful for men! 😂

Do you ever get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of hyper consumerism and overconsumption you see? If this is the stuff that they want to get rid of, can you imagine how much stuff they are buying and hording in their homes? I mean it is good for you as a re-seller but yeesh!.....
This lady was a reseller.......going back to teaching. This was her living, not a hoard.
Alot families keep things in the family and pass their things down to their grown children. We had a yard sale recently and most of it was all passed down from my fathers passing.

OMG! So I never go to yard sales cause I am NOT a morning person, but today for the first time EVER, I decided to get my butt up at 6am and head out. I went to two multi-family yard sales and I walked away with one item. Only one item!!! Your neighborhood yard sales are off the charts!
