I saw this movie with a really pretty girl years ago. We both loved it and found it so sweet. Something about the beauty of finding love and living your life with happiness and sadness, really connected me and this girl that I saw it with. 7 years later we're almost 5 years into our marriage, have a 2 daughters and a little boy on the way.
This movie, is totally different from any drama movies I've ever seen before. The story is perfectly written and matched with all its soundtracks. Best of its kind.
In this era of Covid distress, shock, exhaustion, and PTSD, this movie reminds us all about something it's too easy to forget about: the beauty of the ordinary, the small, the "mundane." I am so glad I watched this beautiful movie.
This is the absolute best movie of all time. You think it's just a normal romantic comedy but it so much more amazing. It is so sweet and makes you happy and makes you want to live happier. Definitely highly recommend if you can't tell.
i just love how this movie is not what it seems. i watched it expecting a rachel mcadams comrom, and went away with too many tears on my eyes, and many lessons learned. it's not about love, it's just about time lmao

Out of all the movies i have watched this movie became #1 on my list. Watching it i thought it would be a romantic comedy but it was something more. Best movie i have ever watched.

Ive watched this movie probably 5 times now, but I just watched it tonight for the first time in a few years. You know life truly is about time. Time is all we have and we aren’t given much of it at all, so it’s so important that we value it, and live every min to its fullest. The last 3 months of my life have been the hardest days of my life and there have been times during it, that I never wanted to wake up when I would actually be able to sleep. I fucked up the most important thing in my life. If only I could travel back in time and undo what I did, but that’s not possible, so all I can do is be present during each moment in time and hope that time will repair what I’ve broken. Rewatching this movie really made me think about everything that’s gotten me too this point 39 years into my time here. I can’t change the past, but I can try and make for a better future. Just like the father said, I’m not proud of many things in my life, but I am proud of my two sons and I hope one day when they become men, that they won’t make the same mistakes I did and I hope they too become proud fathers one day and never forget to tell their wife and kids how much the love them, cause you never know...one day you could wake up, and everything you ever loved is gone
Watching this movie made me think of my father. He loves movies on time travel. When he was 14 he lost his father; my grandfather to a heart attack when helping a snowed in car. I loved that the character went back in time to visit his dad. I know for a fact my father would do the same to visit his father one more time.
This movie is gold. So heartwarming. The story, the fact that it's so genuine, the actors, the music, even the way it's filmed. There are so many artistic ideas!! Ahh so beautiful this will always be my favorite
I agree with so many of you. I cry just hearing this theme. Bawled my eyes out at end of movie. The cast couldn't have been better. I'd like to see more of some of the cast. The man who played Uncle Desmond was superb. The whole family was brilliant, although some were less developed.
I think the word "wow" sums up About Time very well. The Actors are believable, the Direction is very fine. No one in my house walked away while watching About Time. It was a perfect movie and everyone who watched it really enjoyed every minute. Plus, the music is ideal.

My wife and I watched this at home one night but unfortunately she fell asleep on the couch with about 20 minutes to go. When she awoke she asked me how the movie ended. I told her that the father died but before he did he had one last wish and he and Tim went back in time to when Tim was about 8 years old and the scene showed them walking on the beach and throwing rocks into the water. I literally could not get more than a couple of words out before I got so choked up i couldn't speak. What a beautiful movie.
I can literally watch this movie all the time. I watched it 8 times in one week. Never gets old. I'm staying with a friend and it was the first thing I grabbed Bc I could not last a week w/o seeing it! Love love love this movie!

Such a sweet, simple in its message of love, movie. I especially love Bill Nighy's character. He's an excellent actor who makes you want to BE in the scene with him. Stunning soundtrack that really pulls you in and pulls your emotions out so that you really feel these characters. Kudos to Ben Folds for the beautiful ending song...The Luckiest.

Honestly, I wasn't planning on ever watching this movie & even after a few minutes of watching this I had my doubts but as time went passing by the movie definitely caught my interest...
