About on par with "destroy all creatures, draw a card"... I mean the flipside would not even be bad as separate card - 5/3 flying that prevents attacking and casting in same turn fr 5 mana. Craft with artifact - is a cost but barely non-trivial and offset by the fact that the glyphbridge itself is an artifact that could be used for crafting other things can count toward descend etc.. And when yu have 5 mana - you propably prefer an OK 5 drop to a random card. So the crating option is actually better than "draw a card".. The pick one power 2 or less creature can be a downside but can be an upside too and you get to choose the creatures that survive if any. .. actually perhaps better than "destroy all creatures, draw a card"... :O
@@reidyo5404 Dunno I would not consider it a bomb alone but boardwipe + a creature card that's not bad for 5 mana is a bomb.. Kind of on par with Sunfall - Sunfall exiles rather than destroys and gives a 2 mana creature with no ablities and stats that depend on how many creatures were destroyed.. Glyphbridge - gives 5 mana + something (almost trivial? exiling an artifact from graweyard is no cost when you have it and have it for all things you want to cast but do you always have that?) cost creature that I think would be OK but not really good for that cost on it's own. Can't attack and cast spells on same turn limitation for the opponent is - quite good - but dunno why it would be especially good in post-boardwipecaglyphtic scenarios.

1:01: sacrifice Sunbird to cast Dusk Rose Reliquary targeting their Reliquary then craft with the Sunbird in the GY. Then you have an artifact in GY after they cast Abrade on your guy to craft the Bricks. Also, the last half of the draft is a perfect example of why you should just pickup on color caves mid pack 1 when its a card you'll likely cut anyway.
He shouldn’t have put those buried treasures in his deck- It is a huge tempo sink and the cave synergy is trading tempo for large value/tempo swing plays. You just can’t afford to run two buried treasures along side cave game plans.
1:02:54 I might be wrong about how it works, but I think if you used your exile artifact to remove op’s- you’d get the clay fire bricks. Then you exile yours to craft the bricks, which also exiles the bricks- which puts craft ability on the stack. op’s artifact etbs and your bricks are still in exile when that trigger goes on the stack, so it can’t be targeted, and you keep your anthem.
@@brysonsmith1523 The “speed” has nothing to do with it. It’s more about how the stack works. When the opponent’s exile artifact enters the battlefield, the craft ability is still on the stack, so the crafted version isn’t in play to be targeted.
At 35:07. If you cast the Cave In from the Discover it pings Quintorious too for 1. You would've killed ur on planeswalker and he absorbed 1 life so it worked out
I think I rank kutzil a lot higher. The value you get on turn 3 if you have one pumped creature is a must deal with bomb essentially. I went 7-0 with two kutzil and 4 one mana fliers. Also, it makes pump spells soooo much better since your opponent can't respond to it on your turn. Whenever my opponent has it in play and I don't have hard removal, I'm almost ready to concede.
@charliebrooks1474 I disagree because of the ridiculous card advantage I would get. If I didn't end up drawing a card a turn, I would be dead to mid range decks. Plus blocking is horrendous knowing you can't respond to tricks. The games that were the closest for me were the games I didn't draw kutzil right away.
If you let Quintorius cast the discovered Cave-In, he would have died right there, so the 2 life gained would be lost the next turn when the oppo would attack/shoot you instead of him.
The reason that I like this format so much is that I can just play RW or UR and win a bunch. I don't even have to think and I win. Feels good for a new player like me. :)

It's kinda annoying to hear people complain about the draft format. I think it's great. I played 2 drafts last night and trophied both of them. One was an insane boros flier pump with 4x guidewing, 4x aspirant, and 3x cloud guard. The next draft was explore/descend golgari with 4x axejaws. In 1 game, i managed to beat the 1, 2, 3 curve out, even though i didn't have a play until turn 4 and i often didn't have a play until turn 3. explore, descend, artifacts, crafting are all super fun archetypes.
