This is lovely. I used 4x6mm rondelles because that is what I had and because I like smaller designs. I adjusted the 11/0 beads accordingly and it came out perfect! It’s a versatile pattern and simple. I also tried 2x3mm rondelles and 15/0. This I would not recommend because 15/0 are too small for the required thread passes.

Is there a particular reason that you use fishing thread instead of a beading thread (that are more textile-like)? Is it a question of what you just prefer, or does he result get better (stiffer or something)? I´m quite a beginner at DIY jewelery & are grateful for every tips & input for a better result. But bcs I think it`s a real strain on the eyes to use fishing thread (esp in a dark cold country ;) ), so if there isn´t a clear advantage, I rather use something that are easier to work with! xD I have decided to try to make one of your pretty pendants (wish me luck! gonna need it)! love the design, have been looking really long for a DIY flower pendant & thought your design was the best! She typically does use bead thread but im assuming for this she used the monofilament so it wouldn't be floppy and hold shape.
