Box opening of my first Ellowyne Wilde doll

She is stunning! It looks like her lip is peachy rose shade. Really lovely. Have probably over 30 Ellowyne dolls, mostly the original ones from when Robert first made them in their unusual beautiful outfits.. But when he brought them back, I got one dressed called Puff Piece And aBasic doll that I enjoy dressing. This time I bought a Grace with the red hair. It’s my first Grace. And every outfit they sold from Land and Sea that was made for Grace. I hope you enjoy your Ellowyne, thanks for sharing her.

Hi Susan, Thank you so much for being here and for telling me about your gorgeous Ellowyne collection, and the start of your Grace collection. ;o) I love the early Ellowyne's in their stunning outfits, and at some stage I'd like to own one. I'd also love to have a wigged Neema, and I think she'll probably be my next purchase. I bought the blue version of the Land and Sea dress. I loved the whole collection, the shoes were beautiful. ❤

Hi Rappy, I’m glad you like my new venture into Robbert Tonner and his Ellowyne dolls. I just found the stand. The base was under the raised section of cardboard under her feet, and the post of the stand was on the side of the box. It was very well disguised. Hugs, Dolly ❤

Hi Gaynor, I love her beautiful face too. I’d never seen or held a Robert Tonner doll in person before, so I was really pleased and relieved that Ellowyne was gorgeous. I must check out some Helen Kish dolls to compare the eyes with Ellowyne’s.❤

She is absolutely beautiful Suzanne. I'm looking forward to see her new wardrobe as you purchase outfits for her. I need to watch the video again to study her face more but at times her expression seems almost Ike she is disinterested...does she seem shy to you and maybe her attitude helps her overcome that? I would call her lip and nail color rose blush. Congratulations on your new doll. Take care.

Ellowyne is gorgeous... would you call her lipstick colour Salmon possibly? Do they match the same colour as her nails? So you Suzanne... Was that a dolls stand left in the box? Along the side of the box?

Hi Paula, yes, your eagle eyes spotted the post at the side of the box, for the stand, but I’ve only just found the base of the stand. It was inside the raised cardboard section, under Ellowyne's feet. It was really tricky to extricate it from there. I had to pull out the lining of the box, and take off some sticky tape from underneath, to release three tabs, and then I finally got the acrylic base out. Not a job for the faint hearted! Salmon is a great description of Ellowyne's lip colour, and yes, her nails are the same colour. I'm really glad you like her. There's something to be said for the fun you can have with modern dolls.
