My dad Lupe Sanchez taught me all I know growing up in Michigan about these guys. I was 16 now 30 and still think noone can replace these guys...these artists nowadays ain't got shit on them. I had the pleasure to accompany Chacha with the drums a few years before he died I think it was at the Weslaco Community Center I remember Rogelio Botello Rios was there too for those who don't know who Rogelio was he worked at KGBT radio for many years.... I was playing with Pepe Hernadez and his group at the time.The Great bands of Valley.
