I've worked on producing Technical Documenmtation for Boeing ships for over 33 years and have still found them to be the best of the best. Congratulations Boeing!!! Great Job.
This was worth waiting for!! I don't think most people understand just how many sub's are involved in making parts for this airplane. Despite the Lithium Battery problem - (note: teething problems invariably happen with cutting edge technology), the program has moved forward with this beautiful new series 9. The original intention was to make this airplane identifiable amongst other airliners; Boeing has done this. I wish them all the best for the future.
Was on vacation in Mexico a couple years ago. We met a nice couple in the room next to us. The dude happened to be a airplane mechanic for American Airlines. I asked him if he had a preference for airplane manufacturers. I'm a bit of a nervous flyer despite the fact my dad was a pilot and I've flown tons. His answer shocked me a bit. He said the only passenger jet he would fly on is Boeing. All others are crap. His words not mine. Scared the crap out of me. I asked if this went for the smaller Brazilian aircraft as well and he said absolutely. My wife is Brazilian and he was aware of this. Would have been the perfect opportunity to ingratiate himself with us but instead he just reiterated his view. I always check what the aircraft is before hand now. It's always been a Boeing, not sure what I'll do when it's eventually not. Like I said, I already have a fear that's not quit justified now I got this dudes words bouncing around my head.
Boeing. Just because they use a ton of avionics and fly by wire dose not mean anything; they are still making aircraft for pilots to fly and not the wrong way around like other companies. This is why I LOVE Boeing aircraft!!!! Great job, yet again.
please Boeing lets see more of this awesome video and in high def !! I was only able to get it to 360p on the settings selection? All of your other videos are 780 or 1080p....what gives ?
This is what I'm talking about :D Airbus thinks there so cool, HA!!!!!! the 747-800 beats the A380 in every category in my opinion, u guys are amazing. I have posters in my room of the 747-400 cause I'm 16 and want to fly one of them for Delta Airlines one day or the 777-900er :)
The A380 is so heavy and odly shaped that the landing is all autopilot cause the pilots wouldn't be able to handle it. Also I hate how they fly with a little "joystick"
Hahahaha 747-8 better than A380? Is that why most of 747-8 is ordered by cargo airlines? Funny joke boeing is great with its 777 family but 747-8 definitely does not beat the a380 in terms of airlines needs
pantanakarn somboon here's some advice, don't overuse a joke such as yours with the whole "hahaha" and "funny joke"... say it once. We get it.... and u just have to come here picking a fight u couldn't just ignore it could u? Grow up....
just read an Aviation Week artiicle on NASA / Boeing Mach 1.4 - 1.6 X-Plane whose configuration might be used for commercial travel in the future. Looks beautiful and has the promise of quieter sonic booms acceptable to public. Does Boeing know the possible time frame for this X-Plane?
Too bad comment on the rehearsal video was disabled, that video better shows the moves, and it was fregging amazing. One has to wonder did Boeing accidentally stick a fighter test pilot in it instead of the tamer passenger jet test pilot. Love the way it dances in the air, can I pay extra/to have my next flight perform that amazing climb?
There's gotta be a way that Boeing can put quarter slots on the back of the chairs so that the passengers can pay $1 and fly the plane for a few minutes. Think of how much fun that would be!
Boeing's definitedly a pilot's plane. Airbus makes you think you have control of the aircraft but in reality its just the computers flying. I would love to fly a B767 or B777 one day :)
I have a question to somebody of Boeing, The question is who was fisrt the dreamliner or the A 350 of Airbus my question is because the model external is equal and think bad hehe I think that one copy the other...sorry
Really quiet , much more so than the Airbus a350 and much more nimble . It´s often things that seam , not to be making it , like that poor plain in the beginning , turns out to be better than the one , coming out with seemly very little problems .
He a350 and 80's attitude during the off was WAY more impressive then the 787. The 787 is way noisier than the a350 and the a380! Airbus have launched the a319neo a320neo a321neo a330neo and a350 in 2014. Boeing haven't done that much.
Joey: Just enjoy the action. Airbus can't touch this aircraft yet. They will and we will enjoy it. This I am better attitude is crap needs to stop. Just enjoy the ride. Jeeez. Don't be a hater, life is too short.
They launched the Boeing 737-7 MAX, 737-8 MAX, 737-9 MAX, actually delivered the 787-9 (Airbus haven't delivered a single A350 yet), as well as the Boeing 777-8/9 which received orders for over 98 billion dollars. This year has been Boeing's by far.
Keep your damn Airbus, crap jetliners, they ride like a paint mixer. Boeing has high wing loading for limo smooth ride in turbulence, and will outperform any Airbus chap!!
Good one Snow Board. You're right about the 747-8 over the A380. Oh, except the airlines voted with their wallets and Boeing can't give that dinosaur away. Having flown both Boeing and Airbus aircraft (for real that is not on flight Sim) I'd take an Airbus any day.
I've worked on producing Technical Documenmtation for Boeing ships for over 33 years and have still found them to be the best of the best. Congratulations Boeing!!! Great Job.
Saw it fly in on Sunday afternoon, as we were driving along the A331. Certainly looked impressive and very graceful
Watching that spectacular Airshow of the 787-9 Dreamliner took my breath away!
It looks so graceful in the air.

The most beautiful jet airliner at the moment.
Awesome plane, go Boeing!
Would be great to have in HD, the 787-9 deserves it ;)
Gorgeous aircraft! I'd take Boeing over Airbus ANYDAY!
Simply the best.. can't wait to fly 787-9

Just Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
The working speakers are located only above the right aisle on the 787-9. At least it looks that way from the way this was recorded in the beginning.

Pretty plane. I don't think I've seen a sexier set of wings since the Supermarine Spitfire. Good job Boeing!
That plane is acrobatic. it is amazing
most are when they have very little fuel, no passengers, and no cargo.
MrChevypower True
+MrChevypower gff
This is a beautiful plane! I love this one!
That's some hot flying. Great bird, cant wait to see it at LAX soon.
please Boeing lets see more of this awesome video and in high def !! I was only able to get it to 360p on the settings selection? All of your other videos are 780 or 1080p....what gives ?
It would be so cool to be a test pilot for the Dreamliner :)
Plastic fantastic - that's a very pretty flying machine nicely flown
What a beautiful bird. Them mighty engines :-)
I wonder when will it be introduced
Air NZ are the launch customer
This is what I'm talking about :D
Airbus thinks there so cool, HA!!!!!!

I agree, I also want to fly for Delta when I go up and by then they will have their 787's. [I am only 12.]
Lol ikr

Gorgeous gorgeous airplane!!! GO BOEING!!
Amazing
Its pretty for sure.
Love it !
Very impressive!
Sooooo beautiful....

Why isn't this video in HD 720p / 1080p ???
Why is the APU on during the flight?
Can not wait to fly on that plane for United airlines
Congrats and great job Boeing!

Handels like a SkyFerrari :)
HD version???????
How could fly by wire allow pilot to bank at 60 degrees?

BEAU-TI-FUL!!!! Werk 787-9 Werk!
I do hope Yellowstone Project 3, retains and carries on the 747 shape and legacy to defeat the A380

I have a question to somebody of Boeing, The question is who was fisrt the dreamliner or the A 350 of Airbus my question is because the model external is equal and think bad hehe I think that one copy the other...sorry
hope they solved this battery problems finally
boeing 787 '9 dreamliner dazzles over farn borough airshow 20/14 castel
BIO fuel too on GEs 777 engines the cleanest and greenest engines ever made that run on vegetable oil and smells wonderful like french fries.
you know what? Cancel my order from the last video...I'll take two of those 787-9s! Thank you! Where do I put my credit card number?
Awensome plane!!!!!!!!!!
If it's not Boeing, I'm not going!
That takeoff at 1:20. *_*
Barrel role anyone? C'mon. You know you want it.
Sweet Love Boeing planes!
3 dislikes. Must be airbust fans
Airbus is a flying coffin
This is a great airplane. Congratulations Boeing, job well done. Now sell the hell out of this plane.
Can i have one?
It looks like bird wings instead of airplane wings. Hope they last under thousands of flights.
Really quiet , much more so than the Airbus a350 and much more nimble .
It´s often things that seam , not to be making it , like that poor plain in the beginning , turns out to be better than the one , coming out with seemly very little problems .
No loops, no barrel rolls, no deliberate stalling, not even an upside down low pass.
:(
Boeing > Airbus
Do a barrel roll!!
Amazing Aircraft - For a 200+ passenger jet... this is ridiculous control!
Awwww I thought they were gonna do a barrel roll.
Muy buen o
in my opinion, boeing will always be better than airbus
Lets go for a test ride.... in the all carbon fiber plane

because quantity of models means something? I bet all of Ford's special edition mustang's over the years excites you too.
