One can't help but wonder : where did you acquire this technical knowledge?
I think father or grandfather...I miss my grandfather and wish I had watched more and asked more questions.
@@dealia7777 Like any successful project, lots of technical assistance, writing support, editing support, and study.
@@aguilayserpiente much respect, sir! True professionals give credit where credit is due as well.
@@dealia7777 Your grandfather is proud that he inspired a thoughtful grand daughter. Your grandfather's lessons are recorded in his notes, his stories, the knowledge of his co-workers, the knowledge of his apprentices, and existing knowledge of his vocation.
the apprenticeship system in Switzerland is no joke
He: "have problems with girlfriend"
Also he: "lets just make a new one"
Hahaha :-)
If only it were that easy ...... :'(
@@jimmarshallman6300 he could probably just fix the old one with some shine and polish TBH

I wanted to just say even after all your hard work restoring this beautiful piece, you still fired it up for our enjoyment..and maybe yours as well. Thank you!!
Its nice to see a craftsman make an error and admit it. a beautiful blow torch. the fuel tank looks like an ornament rather than a part of a blowtorch. every time i watch your videos i wish i had access to such a well equipped workshop.
Beautiful work and attention to the intricate details as always
Наверное, только швейцарцы могут так подгонять друг к другу новые детали сделанные вручную!
For folks who don't speak Russian he said - "Probably only the Swiss can fit hand made parts like that"
I think I'll just sit here with my popcorn and wait for the Patina Police to issue a citation.
FTS, my respect on an excellent job.
I'm thrilled. Watching this video was so much fun - unbelievable enthusiasm, skills and endurance. Stunning result. Thanks a lot for showing us this master piece of restauration.
Your work is meticulous and your results are simply astonishing! Thank you.
