Cape Town's homeless encampments set for eviction

The City of Cape Town on Monday February 20 2023 confirmed it had obtained permission from the high court in Cape Town to serve eviction notices on all illegal settlements within the central business district.

They are human beings on streets like anyone , difference is only money... it's their country they must be provided proper shelter by rich too not only government. Who only busy making money by all means right or wrong, where are NGOs now it's a social work too.

There is significant economic damage being done to existing traders, small businesses and residents. There are many jobs are on the line in the areas these camps are built. They are full of drugs and there are MANY criminals living in them.
They are constantly offered shelter and options, they just refuse help because they prefer the streets.

@@mvubu6823 The same thing is happening in many cities in the US, Canada have their share of homeless also. Most are on drugs or have mental problems, others are there because of illness or unemployment,
