Thanks for taking time to share this. Am starting g to grow several in pots and have been trying to decide what shape I want them to be pruned to. I like the full look of yours.
Thanks for the tutorial. I found a small Bay around 7 years ago that was about 2 foot high (someone had thrown it out) . I re-potted it and it has lived on my patio ever since. I have never trimmed it and rarely water it and now it stands at about 6.5 feet from the root and it's about 4 foot wide. The pot has now started to split probably due to the tree size and I'm wondering if I can re-pot after such a long time. Any advice is welcome.
Oh my gosh yes! 7 years?! 😱 it's usually recommended to repot or even pot up a size, every 2 or so years. Definitely repot and give it a good feed of light food like seaweed solution, fish emulsion or worm castings
Is this England? I have bay lollipop and they are in pots. I am too scared to plant them outdoors due to snowfall in winters in London. Can you kindly make a video of how to take care of them if they are planted outdoors in soil in England. Please reply?

I’m here (in April) wondering what to do with my Bay tree! It’s over grown and just massive. Please help!
We just gave ours a decent pruning last week. Love these plants!
Where can I get bay leaf tree to purchase about 3ft high?
Really nice and to the point video thank you for sharing
flowers have to cut down for tree growth? what to do with flowers or leave it like that
Pruning the leaves will encourage fresh growth. You can either dispose of the leaves or alternatively you could use them in your compost heap!

Hi Bradley. Yes we are in the UK.
You can collect the leaves and use the in your cooking. What a waste.
Yeah, if you watched the entire video he said to keep the cuttings for cooking. Do you watch entire videos?
