I dont think the TVL comparison will be fruitful at all. With ETH during that time, there were not really many other options that were far enough along so it was destined to explode. Theres a lot more competition now so I dont think its reasonable to suggest Cardano will make a similar move in terms of TVL. Price wise I still think we go $5-10 either way.

Both factors related to the current ADA price versus current ETH price and savvy investors should realize that greater gains are likely in Cardano.
Its funny you say this because when I first started in crypto in 2017 I was a BTC maximalist and then I changed to a ethereum maximalist in the last cycle and now I am a cardano maximalist. I just follow the best fundamentals at the time. Now cardano's time!!

What you need to consider is that many alts are far more speculative than you realize. Sure, there are some alts that could hit some crazy valuations from here, but there are also many that may severely underperform or worse completely tank.

i love ADA but MATIC at nearly half the market cap seems like a better deal to me. I think they will stay about the same Market cap in bull run so if ADA reaches 100 mc its a 9-10x but its a 15-20x for matic.

I think it's still possible for ADA to get to an ATH this cycle of around $3.75. If still around in 2030 we could see sky high prices of $6 to $7. This would be phenomenal gains from the cycle low.

I would be very hesitant to invest in ADA (besides a lot of other coins) right now. The SEC uncertainty, the BTC bear market and the meme coin flooding are all bad signals. The crypto market is good for scalping this year and that's it.
its accumulation period.... from here is when you make the best gains.. i think its good to be DCAin since june 2023. bull market should start properly next year. but if you invest from now the gains will be more. most things are 10x from ATH minimum and usually anything that makes it to next bullrun should do better than ATH

Networks like arbitrum, polkadot, matic have bridges connecting to each other and, mainly, connecting with ethereum. As long as Cardano does not connect to Ethereum, it will be outside DEFI. Those millions today on Cardano are due to at most the activity of two whales manipulating the market.
I admire this kid, cardano has been absolutely bitch slapped the last 12 months but he still continues to remain upbeat , which is why I've added to my ADA holding.
What you are seeing with ADA is very similar to what happend with ETH before the last cycle. It tanked hard in 2018, bottoming out at one point under $100 by the end of the year. Meanwhile, spring and into the summer of 2019 the crypto market actually had a really good rally while ETH did very little, talking BTC going from 3k to 14k, LTC from $20 to $140, while ETH briefly went above $300. It then proceeded to tank hard into the winter of 2019/2020 at around $100. Look at where we would have been at with ETH from January 2020 to a little more than a year later.

The main problem of Cardano is the supply. It is high and it is not likely that ADA will reach high prices like other coins.
