This song is going to get big again because of the "Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story" trailer/show. In my opinion, it's always been a banger.
Hey, the extra attention being brought to this classic isn’t a bad thing. Ryan Murphy (the creator of Monster and Monsters) is bringing a younger generation to know music from the 80’s and 90’s, and that’s a good thing. The same thing happened in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, it brought attention to classics like Silent Morning, Sadeness, etc…
The lady singing this song was my High School music teacher. Notice one of the dancers is wearing a high school letterman's jacket. The dancer is a good friend of mine who attended the same school that she taught in. This song was a big deal for my school back then. DoD high school RAF Alconbury UK. Go Dragons!

I grew up round the corner from Stevie V, in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire in England... I remember going round to his house where is Mercedes was parked outside, an ordinary looking house it was. '"Dirty Cash (Money Talks)" is a song by British dance music act the Adventures of Stevie V. It was first released in December 1989 on the Mercury record label, then again in 1990 both on 7-inch vinyl. The 1990 release peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, number one in the Netherlands, and topped the US and Canadian dance charts.
