Awesome video man! I really like how the product (and nothing else) is the highlight. I also really like the quality close up and lighting. It really gives me a good sense(the best sense of any viseo so far) of what itll be like in hand. I ordered the khaki 3.5l yesterday on Prime Day, so got a great deal at $37. I have many other slings. My favorite is my xpac Kargo Loculus sling. However its 5.5l and is a bit large for quick trips around town. So hoping the 3.5l tomtoc will be a more manageable size for this. Keep up the great work!
@@jarrodknight4698 thanks for the comment. I used the Aviator around town for a NYC trip and the size was great. Not too small or big, and has lots of organization options. You’ll really like it. And thanks for the suggestion on the Kargo sling, I’ll have to check that one out too.
Great video. I'm between the Aviator 1.5L sling and the Sling Bean. I'm essentially looking for a pocket reliever, wallet, phone, hand sanitizer, flashlight, knife, and first aid kit (Altoids tin).
Thanks! These both work great as pocket relievers. I don't have the Aviator 1.5L but the organization in both the slings are really great. They should be perfect for what you need. I carry about the same number of items you mentioned.
I just picked up the slingbean but fair warning I'm considering returning. It's a great pocket reliever but it's a bit too slim and doesn't quite expand enough to hold all the things you listed comfortably. Maybe that's just me. The Aviator 1.5 looks about the same size but with a bit more packability so I might go with that instead. Plus it's just something you have to put on and look at first but the super rounded look is a bit jarring at first.
@@BuddyFox After using the slingbean for a month. What I've been doing is using a slim card wallet in the rear outside pocket. A phone on the interior pocket, a small point and shoot camera in the main compartment, and airpods and little things in the 2 stretch pockets. I found that putting thick things in the exterior front or back pockets take away from the interior space. I had that same problem with the Aviator 3.5L, A lot of tomtoc's exterior pockets take away from interior capacity. I try to keep most of my items in the main compartments. So if you run out of room on the slingbean 1.5L you might have the same problem with the Aviator 1.5L. Tomtoc did tell me that they will have the 2.5L releasing soon though. These are the dimensions of the 2.5L- 10.2’’ x 5.3’’ x 3.3’’ (260mm x 135mm x 85mm)
@@thejonco oh that’s phenomenal to hear. 1.5 seemed too small, 3.5 would be too big on my body. I saw the 2.5 mentioned on the site but totally missing from the sizes. I’ll definitely be rushing there if the 2.5 ever drops.

Also let me know what you end up going with!
