    I would be so hype if they added RPO's into madden. would make spread systems like this even more deadly. Of course due to possible gameplay issues and linemen downfield rules in the NFL they would probably have to be pretty simple RPO's with quick pass options but would still be fun to have in the game.

    Great video, as usual. Love your tutorial vids.
    Only downside on RNS this year is that you can't edit the PB and its base audibles aren't good (e.g. I'd prefer inside zone instead of outside zone as a base run play). I'm anxious to use the RNS PB as my base PB in CFM but the inability to edit the PB is a major turnoff for me.

      agree, wish choice and go were in the audibles as well

    I had no idea that Pistol Spread was still in the game in any book. Wow! Thanks for the Video Ny_Kia!

    I thought something was wrong with my game because bubble screens were running as fades. I'm glad to know someone else was dealing with that issue. The Carolina offense will run the bubble every once in a while. I just couldn't utilize it. If it's fixed, I'm adding it to the arsenal.

      Yeah another in the laundry list of glitches. Lots of glitches like that in this game now.

    Man I can't even find Gun Spread for my custom pb. Looked all over for it for an hour building my 3rd CPB. Definitely wanted to have it to run with my Steelers. Had to add Gun Trips HB Wk just to get a 4 WR set on the field. Nearly everything that I've found "spread" wise has 1 or 2 TE's, save for Empty sets.

    • @nykia31
      @nykia31  7 лет назад +1

      Because it isnt there. I have no idea why the do these things.

      Damn, didn't think so. Couldn't find Flanker Close either. Really wanted some Spread goodness for my PB without having to go Empty. You would think you could package sub 4 WR's in the Gun Y Spread but you cannot. Really enjoying the run game from Spread too.
      Good stuff man

    It seems wild that that curl flat guy on 4 vs choice never even tried to pick the quick out when he's so close

    In the Cowboys playbook, at least 1 of the Scats is glitched (bubble runs a fade), and if I remember correctly, there's a bubble screen or two that are glitched in that playbook as well. Seems like that would be easy to clean up during the making of the game, but there are obvious things that leave me incredulous with Madden every year...

    Around 5:15 you said you were dialing up a deep out for the Z receiver. Was that a hot route? How were you able to make it deeper than the normal out route?

    • @nykia31
      @nykia31  7 лет назад

      Smart route it.

  • @YuhChorp
    @YuhChorp 7 лет назад

    This might just be me but in any isolated choice rout situation that includes an out (60 x Choice) I run the isolated receiver to the short side of the field

    Have you looked at the Tampa Bay playbook? Seems like the closest thing to Run n shoot without being RNS. Lots of spread out formations. Wondering your thoughts on it.

    In def playcall screen how are you able to to identify match coverages?

    • @SWAGGZ36
      @SWAGGZ36 7 лет назад

      Freedom Fighter Brandon Harris the play has the word match on it ex: cover 3 match

    • @gamebred5x
      @gamebred5x 7 лет назад

      There are other plays with match coverage that doesn't specifically say it tho and he was able to know and I was asking how was he able to identify it.

    • @nykia31
      @nykia31  7 лет назад +2

      Most of the C-3 zone blitzes are match coverage

    Its the route running rating that determines how often they'll make the "RIGHT" decision?

    Those Bubble Screens can be risky in any game. In NCAA,I would use this on 3rd down & my red zone plays were from Ace or 2RB,3WR formations

    Is this custom playbook or regular? And what do you think of the west coast playbook could it work this year.

    • @nykia31

    It really bites that you cant edit the playbook.

    • @BlackBirdBlitz
      @BlackBirdBlitz 7 лет назад

      Yeah that sent me for a loop when I first got the game. However, if you get past that you can still create almost any concept in the game and force the defense to keep guessing.

    • @nolaboy38
      @nolaboy38 7 лет назад

      Am I blind, but it looks like after the patch they removed the Spread formation from all plays when making a custom playbook..

    • @BlackBirdBlitz
      @BlackBirdBlitz 7 лет назад

      I don't know the specifics but it seems the special playbooks can't be customized. In the past all plays were available but in 18 that is not the case. Some say it was a memory choice and EA wanted to make team playbooks more realistic so special playbooks were limited.

  • @barrylee9992
    @barrylee9992 7 лет назад

    is it my imagination or do choice routes take longer to run?? OR am I just sweating while waiting on the receivers decision?

  • @peter69215

    So this is fully viable in 18?

      Does any regular team playbook have a majority of the singleback spread plays?

    • @nykia31
      @nykia31  7 лет назад

      Texans has single back spread..i think it is the only regular playbook that has it
