In the past, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Art and Architecture at the Technical University of Liberec, but he also visited the Center for Architecture in Chicago with the Fulbright Commission, which inspired him to create the educational publication City for Everyone: A Beginner's Urbanist's Handbook.
