This show was produced in FT Lauderdale Forida at Videotape Associates. Mastered on IVC 9000 2" helical VTR's. You can see the head switch at the right side of the picture which was a characteristic of these machines.
In this interview, Alice SPECIFICALLY states the he's "been doing this for 14 years now". If this was the case he should've started in 1963??? IMPOSSIBLE!!! He started in 68, so add 14 years and you have an interview from 1982. Do the math people.
This is summer of 1977. He's talking about the set of the Lace & Whisky tour, which was June to August that year. Plus, he has a tan from playing golf. =)
Yeah he's referring to his high school band the ear wigs. If this were 1982 you'd know because he was very distinctively and obviously underweight and drugged out in 82.
I love when he talks about his other self in the third person.
@mikebealsrocks He started in 1964, when they were called "The Earwigs", so if you count 1977, it's actually 14 years
Wow there's never an interview of him in the 70s so rad !!
"don't move" - he's a quick wit

I remember this show! I remember they had a disco segment and a bunch of kids dancing to Disco Duck....
he looked so different back then
I love it ...
Alice predicts "power ballads" ?
Had no idea Alice Cooper's band debuted way back in 1964!! Also would love to know if this was recorded before (or after)August of '77.
This would have been at least in 1977 because Alice mentioned punk, that that did not arrive on the scene really *until* 1977.
@gorillabelly1 It's for a kids show. Of course, they ask simple questions.
Remember the show but I'd forgot the name of it.
don't move
@TheCooperfreak LOL! I also loved that!
He reminds me of Tommy Shaw here.... with black hari... sorry :P

Kristy McNicoll.
What will must be like in 1984? Well, wait 10 more years for Oasis. Then enjoy.
No
