Hi Doc. I have watched several of your videos. I want to give you a huge Thank you. My 14yr old shih tzu has been having a rough time getting around. I have to help him up and down the porch steps. He doesnt have much energy, struggles to get up and looks all around miserable.
That is until you came around. In a few of your videos you mention natural anti inflammatories. I have been giving him tumeric, flax seed oil, pro biotics, and fish oil. I mix it in with his wet food every night for the last 2 weeks and he is like a brand new dog. He is running and playing and barking out the window l. He acts like he is 5 again.
Thank you souch for helping my little buddy. You have truly helped him.. He is so happy again.

Thanks! You're video with Bernie was one of the bits of information that helped me decide to have my 5 Y.O. Leonberger's right hind leg removed when she was diagnosed with bone cancer, rather than just wait and put her down. My fear was that the leg would shatter and that I would have to put her down myself when it happened. The leg is gone now and I found a great canine oncology vet up in Salt Lake. We just had Gina's first chemo treatment and will start doing in-home physical therapy to help her body deal with the new demands on her muscles. One of the comments I heard, and remind myself daily is, 'don't let the cancer steal your dog from you'. I refuse to dwell on the grief of losing my beloved Gina, and try to remain focused on the blessing of each additional day that I have with her.

I just put my dog down on 3 days ago he hadd spinal surgery in February 8 year old 130 lb cane corso . We live in New York he heard fireworks and dragged his bach leg and shattered his knee and fractured his hip ... Vets saw bone cancer on the x ray .. the woman assistant said the xray looked like a broken chop stick ...
Broke my heart to hear I would have to amputate his leg and put him through chemo after id like to think putting him down was the right choice but i have so much regrets 😢

Hearts broken today, my german shepherd somehow broke my min pins leg. Surgery to fix her leg would have been between 5-8 thousand. With prices that high, we couldn't afford that. So we had 2 options, amputation for 1500 (plus all the other fees) or to say goodbye. We can bring her home tomorrow but I will forever live with the guilt knowing if i could have afforded it, my girl would still have her leg. She will be 13 on May 10th. I hope she adjusts at her age..

OMG I have the same cancer. I never thought of an animal having it. I had it in my right ulna. they went in removed the cartilage tumor Pined and used bone cement. I have had it removed from near the my hands. I still have a tumor in my leg. I am able to walk pretty good some days not so good. The Doctors could not guarantee I would have use of my leg if they removed it so I have not had the surgery for that one. Figured as long as I can use it leave it be till necessary. I go for regular scans and as long as it is not growing or spreading I can wait.

Hi everyone, my 10 year old male Akita Inu was found with Osteosaroma in his front left foor. We amputated and the doctors did already the first chemotherapy to my dog....but i am worried about my health living together with a dog during his chemo.
My Vet never warned me about taking precautions and measures for my personal health... Thank god the dog neither vomited nor had diarrhea and i always bag his poop
But he should tell me to wear gloves too and most important he should tell me to avoid kissing him near his mouth and muzzle and not let him lick me !!!
Now i am trying to remember the first three days after his first chemo, what kind of contact i had with my dog and i am freaking out because i learned that the chemo could be cancerous for the people .....I let him lick my leg a little and i kissed him on the muzzle near the mouth right after his first chemo when the Vet brought him to me....
Could any suspicious contact that i had with my dog with his saliva and poop be fatal for my health ?

For my opinion, I wouldn't recommend it because of putting the weight on the other hip.,large dog are likely to have bad hip. Other that the fact I have known too many of my friends who tried this and their dog suffered and fail around and the cancer moved to the entire body. Which caused more heart aches. I always had my checked out to make sure there was no hope before I sent my pet to Rainbow Bridge. Of course it's everyone own choice on how they feel. Thank you..

can you tell me of the percentage of dogs that have Phantom Leg Dyndrome t hat have their leg, especially a back leg removed? My rescue dog has Acral granuloma, due to trauma from a car accident, the according to a neurologist vet specialist, the dog feels pins and needles, like a leg falling asleep, and he chews his leg. The bones in the leg also did not heal well, they healed crooked. Pharmaceuticals would be very expensive for me or another person, I live in southern Mexico, but I have a fear of him having ghost leg syndrome. Any help, or studies you would recommend?

Thanks; beautiful Dog!! My options fr. Vet 3 years ago were # drug for balance of life; amputation.......if it is bone cancer ....... of three poss. conditions, our MAX was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in his elbow, due to an injury sustained during the first 9 months of his puppy life with former owner. Former owner apparently had no vet care for this injury, so it 'healed' on it's own. I noticed the limp after walking and other exercise, especially Lab Retriever activity which is never ending.......so now what? O.K. I am thankful that he is not cancerous, or with dysplahsia, sorry can't spell! So, after six months on the drug to treat inflammation and pain, I stopped. Instead he gets, green lipped mussel and lots of supps of Fish Oil, Chondrotin, MSM, and a few others. I plan to start with Curcumin as well. I am grateful that green lipped mussel is available. And, the jittery condition that came from the drug therapy which was metacam liquid, as the pill gave him diarrhea.... is gone. We are happy, we are well enough. He loves his kiddie pool, loves his walks, loves his frisbee and his ball and would chase and retrieve them endlessly. We monitor his activities. So, it is all good. Blessings to all you dog and cat owners out there and to you Doc. We surely appreciate you.

@Michelle Bearse What does the blk pepper do? I am doing coconut oil on pads of feet after a long walk ........bc our neighbors treat their lawns and I don't want that on their feet so we wash the pads ...... and want to try curcumin. Tramodol makes my Pit aggressive (and she already has that tendency) so we are glad she only needed it for when she was spayed. Tell you what!! You are doing something right, and 16 years with energy as improved from not being able to walk from the door to the sidewalk. Wow. Good for you and God Bless. Love to read about long lived dogs.

@Michelle Bearse There is a lot of info now re spay/neuter. I worked for a Vet. who spayed a preg cat who was near giving birth. That was in the 80s. Today we have knowledgeable info that spaying and neutering very young animals is extremely disruptive in many ways to the health of that animal. I never forgot that he was willing to kill those near born kittens. Today, my neighbor was telling me how her Vet is trying to make her feel embarrassed bc she is not letting him chop off her French Bulldog's Testicles. I value having informative energy from Dr. Jones and others that exposes all areas of results of this procedure. The lesser surg. which was explained is hopefully going to be an option at more Vet Clinics. Gretta was over a year when I had her spayed. She is now 8 yrs old. If we were to get another pup, I am not sure I would do this surg. especially on a male. Thanks for your feedback. Well, I still won't be putting blk pepper in my dogs food, LOL but thanks and super good days to yah.

I have a 6 year old husky/malaumute mix and yesterday her xray showed a tumor in her bone. The vet said amputation could be an option but because of her size it may not go well for her and the only other option is euthanization. It's her front leg.
