  • My Friend Noboru and I woke up early and headed Towards the N face of Engadine in hopes to ski right off the summit before a storm rolled through Kananaskis that afternoon. Access was tricky and nasty as the creek bed had melted out. We re routed onto the Buller pass hiking trail and used that to access the line instead. When we finally made it to snow conditions improved as we gained elevation and visibility was staying decent. We bailed 100-200m below the summit because we didn't want to ski down in a whiteout if the storm moved in. Sadly it socked in anyways and we skied down in the whiteout. Snow was great up high though!
