i wish they did something like decodechess where it can annotate (text) whole game explaining every move...that would be something and can be used by every chess player including ametuers
@@katzenpapa they don't. Its totally different. And because they use your local machine and not compute cluster it will never be close to something like decodechess. Using ChatGPT is a nice idea, but who knows which LLM training model they use?
@@katzenpapa i belive you are talking about "explain all moves" feature but sadly it doesnt explain much plus they have position tutor which is also too vague and doesnt show up for every move plus they have litte annotation in text in engine but that is also vague and hard to understand......it feels like they can do it if they want to but not doing to it

I have Chessbase 17 and Fritz 19 (got them both this year), so maybe they'll help me out as a new supporter 😂😂... and thank you so much for that release info. Now that I know when they release the next Chessbase I can plan better :) ....is Fritz every other year as well?

They do have a feature but it's not as extensive.

Email them they might give you a special discount. Fyi, Chessbase is released every other year in November so the next release will be November 2026.

@@KaijudoMaster11 Yes they release Fritz everyother other year OFF from Chessbase, so Fritz 20 should be released November 2025!
