I own the American cousin of this T-Cross, I have the top of the line variants VW Atlas Cross Sport Execline made in the USA, its twice the size of this one, but also twice or maybe 3x times the price by the time it reaches the Philippine market. Mine has all the bells and whistle options, it even drive and park by itself. One thing you forgot to mention tho, VW uses a new high-strength high tensile steel, its up to six times stronger than conventional steel and a lot lighter. In a collision, you will thank VW for your life 😂you will notice it when you close the door and it has that one solid sound to it. That body is built tough like a tank!
We're eyeing this car for next year, will be a huge upgrade for our Mobilio. My wife liked how TCross looks especially in this Tribu color scheme. She liked it so much that she's going to start her driving lessons 🤣 always like your fun reviews, Joo. Keep it up 👍
A very good looking VW 😊👍 The NA engine is ok for me, but I hope VW will bring in the turbocharged variant soon (for those who want a more exciting ride) 😊
I am a fan of VW. It's supposed to be the simplest of the most simplest cars. That's its trademark. Of course, the GT variants are a different story, but generally, VW maintains its simplicity. Why else would they call it "Volkswagen" or in English "People's Car". Love the simplicity of VW. It's just sad to learn that the T Cross do not have a manual variant. I prefer manual, I fall asleep behind automatics. It suits my preferred lifestyle: "Less is More".
The European version is about 110mm shorter, comes in a worse range of colours, has a different front design and you can't get a sunroof. It's a sort-of global car but with variations depending on where in the world you are
0-100kph in 13.3secs.?? You are right, its taking forever.. youll have a very difficult time overtaking those slow moving, overloaded, cargo trucks. I'll pass on this one....
My issue with territory is that it is actually a collab with chinese brand (issue on longevity) unlike VW, the assembly is on China but it is still VW architecture and R&D. Particularly this TCross, as mentioned in the review, is a Global car.
