When I first started playing terraria again back in October after taking a break and the last version I played was mobile 1.2, I found a dead man's chest and almost had a heart attack from blowing up
I was a little confused at your wording but it still understandable. I'm pretty sure some moron won't get it though then they'd say "a dead man's chest didn't exist in mobile 1.2"
That feeling when you make a mediumcore character, and you die to one of these ... and you lose 1+1/2 hours to retrive yo items ... it's called dispaire.
Those two guys only had fun doing this when everyone played 1.4 for the first time. I was hoarding pressure plates and traps like a madman for a good week after being blown up by 4 explosive charges
Me an antisocial who wires up a trap for my friend to activate when he logs in: "Hey this is pretty relatable, but I think pressure plates with boulders over spawn is better."
I usually just take the risk anyway, even when I know for a fact the chest is trapped, so long as I don’t have money outside of my piggy bank and/or money trough.
How to make a un-beatable trap : Step 1 : make deep hole and fill with sand Step 2 : put tnt at bottom Step 4 : wire up Step 5 : reach hell Step 6 : wire chest with tnt Step 7 : wire up inactive stone blocks Step 8 : lava. Step 9 : wait
This is why The Grand Design is a godsend. Being able to look at traps, disarm them and profit is so good. The fact that it also helps locate and disarm the Jungle Temple is very useful as well.
@@ZudinGodofWar very easy actually, just point anywhere at the screen, drag and place wires to your heart's content (or until you run out). You do need to use the right click to change the "placing wires and acutators" and "cutting wires and acutators" modes. The reason why it's very useful for the Jungle Temple is because is loaded with multicolored wire traps that you can disarm as soon as you get this tool, which is pre-hardmode. You can also toggle the ruler and the wire display at the left of your inventory, ruler helps in construction and wire display is obvious, as long as the display is active and you have the item in your inventory you won't get blindsided.

Sad thing is I fell for a Dead Man's Chest 3 times and only 2 I managed to survive due to a world generation problem where some of the wire actually were cut off near the explosives
In what year did that player activate the trap? They had electronics before waiting thousands of years. Also why did the trap work if it was thousands of years later with possibilities of it breaking.

I always put a special wire on my traps to make sure they activate if they cut the wrong wire.

If you get lucky enough to spot a dart trap right as you're entering caverns, hold onto it. It makes spotting traps trivial.

The reason it's called the dead man's chest is because the people who made it died from waiting for so long for you to open the chest

You know, I can never get around on how the Grand Design works for I'm not much into wires, how easy is it to use for a first timer
