Worth noting that Japanese bath water is relatively clean, usually.. You wash yourself off before you get into the bath. That sounds weird but remember that normal Japanese baths are meant to be shared, the big public ones, but even at home you make the bath once for the whole family, then people take turns taking a bath. You pour water over yourself outside of the bath, use soap and whatever, then wash that off, then you go in the bath. Depends as modern bathrooms are not always traditional, imported "Western Style" furniture and house designs are increasingly common, but potentially the bathwater was almost clean.

I read somewhere that the news outlets in Japan played all of his propaganda on the news after the attacks in 1995 or sometime after his capture just so everything became public knowledge, but that's how most people have so much of the cult's propaganda and inside information.
I’m completely hooked on your channel. Your so easy to listen to, wished my teachers were like you I might of learnt something ☺️☺️. Thank you so much. Xx
You did pretty well on the pronunciations this time, man. America barely blinked, but there it was momentous and a fitting end to the man.
To anybody interested, the influence and terror of Aum and Asahara is still not yet gone. On January 1st, a car driven by a 21 year old supporter of the cult dove into Harajuku’s busiest shopping district of Takeshita Street. 9 people were injured and 1 was in critical condition. A tank of Kerosene was found in the vehicle and traces of the chemical was found on the clothing of the attacker, and the police assumed that the attacker intended to light the vehicle on fire, causing more damage. Fortunately the fire didn’t happen and nobody died, but when he was captured he proclaimed that he conducted a terror attack in retaliation to the death penalty and later claimed to be a member of the cult. Now considering the fact that in 2018, all people executed were high level Aum Shinrikyo members including Asahara, it’s not surprising to assume he did this attack in retaliation for the cult, although some investigators are considering whether or not he actually attacked for the group. Fortunately, no deaths have been reported thus far and many Japanese seemed to not care about these fanatic idiots much, as thousands of Japanese later visited the nearby Famous Meiji Shrine, to pray for a good year; a thing that happens every year in Japan. This attack that I heard of in Japanese news was shocking to me at first and worrisome as I graduated from a nearby university last March and I had a lot of dear friends in the local area. It also was shocking for me as I spent my New Years often in harajuku and omotesando area to party and drink with my peers. If only it were that simple. Cults are almost always shockingly subtle and master manipulators. They almost always keep up a friendly, fairly mild, supportive, do-gooder front while they very slowly prey on, isolate, and indoctrinate members. Emphasis on slowly: they take the frog in a pot of boiling water approach. To believers, it's small doses that gradually push them far from reality, aided also by a whole suite of manipulation, gaslighting, abuse, Stockholm Syndrome, social pressure, and the sheer charisma of its leader and star members. The victims are often desperate, lost, lonely, ill, abused, addicted, etc people, literally picked out and preyed on because they are more vulnerable to these tactics. The cult's face and members often seem genuinely, warmly, deeply caring, helpful, and supportive, pretty much a big reassuring community for the victim to join with open arms. The victims are slowly guided, manipulated, pressured, and abused into isolating themselves from anything and everything while the cult's small doses of poison add up. That's part of

Abraham Lincoln Yeah! And totally not the fact that Simon runs this channel off of suggestions and it's just a coincidence, no no

In otherwords.
People are really REALLY gullible
That's part of
I like the use of Metal in the transition slides here.
