Maybe a bit far inland, but The Forbidden Corner near Middleham is great - something totally different. Your kids will love it and you will love it too! North Yorkshire Moors Railway is worth a visit, particularly Goathland Station. Bit further north than Redcar, but Beamish Museum is great. Hope you find some good places to visit and look forward to seeing them in future videos. Great channel - keep up the good work.
Would of loved going on train but very expensive we love heartbeat area I took boys 3 years ago they loved it and started to watch heartbeat afterwards lol
It's really nice how much effort you put in with your kids, it's lovely to see, all the memories going in the memory box 🤗😍 hope you have a great holiday 😊
As iam devorced and have kids most weekends and school holls I need to get in as much time as possible it won't be long untill they find out what pubs are and women and cars 🤣🤣🤣 Dad won't be cool to be seen with then
Hi mate. The Boondockers parked near where The Royal, TV show was filmed. On the prom. Fishing near as well. You could take kids to North Yorkshire Moor Railway. Just a couple ideas. Enjoy mate. Jeff.
Just back from there, theres a campsite right next to Whitby Abbey, £25 a night, literally over the road from the Abbey so you can walk into town from there and see it lit up at night, i went to Whitby, Corbridge and Vindolanda, it was a great trip
Don't know if your still looking for places mate, but have a look at Breighton Ferry, Selby. £5 per night pp. Free fishing, free kayak launching. Toilets, elsan point, water. Pub food. Kids play area. Big site 👍
Just down from Redcar is Saltburn and I believe there's a coach park there but you have the beach and the victorian cliff lift as well as a park and museum. Southgare at Redcar has lots of space. Have fun.
You could go to Bolton Abbey just outside Gargrave there is a river you can go swimming in and it would be good for the kayak as well. the only thing is it’s a bit of a drive from the east coast. We used to go when we were kids and loved it
I was at ASMT Leconsfield, there used to be a military 4x4 driving area at Driffield. Consider contacting them and use the LCAT angle and your looking for a go as LCAT 4x4 training (stay overnight)
Flamborough-north landing it’s beautiful, Whitby go past the 199 steps and get freshly smoked kippers from the smokers. Also eat At the magpie in Whitby great food. Call at Pickering and go on the steam train.
Goathland is a really nice place to visit as its in the north York moors national Park as this is where they used to film a programme called heartbeat and there's alot of old cars and motorbikes there too and its also on the North York moor steam trainline which runs from Pickering to Whitby.
Try Saltburn, opposite Golf Club. Should be free, good size for you but no facilities. From there you can do a brilliant woodland walk towards beach where you could try surf school. Miniature railway can be done too. Plus cliff walk. Tell me if you want some more details or information. It’s only 8 miles from South Gare/Redcar
@@TheOffgridNomadUK I believe there are 2 schools now. See if you can find the other as well. Plus, it might be worth the ‘I’m a RUclipsr’. If not, just look at the woodland, walk from viaduct to valley gardens, from where you can get the miniature railway to beach. The do pier or cliff walk. Back up to town and bus to golf club. Again, ask if you need further details 👍
North Yorkshire water park is great they have those jet things that lift you up out of the water along with jet skis and a lot of other things like water ski ing well run too still a pretty new thing it's not far from Scarborough

Falling foss…. Car park at the end of foss lane, you can walk the river to the cafe and waterfall. Park up for the night in the car park/ pull in on the right before you descend into flyingthorpe.
There's plenty of motorhomes and campers stay at the Abbey on a weekend and a few through the week, you should be OK there.the police pass a few times a night and never stop.
Hi mate just north of Loftus which is about 10 mile north of whitby is a little village called skinning grove which is free parking in the harbour car park and brilliant for sea fishing for the kids and there's also free toilets at the end of the row of terrace houses
Hi mate its sad to say but whytby hates camper vans they wont let you park overnight anywarecwe have stayed at whytby at least twice a year over the last 30 years but now dont waste £10 a day on parking if you chance staying overnight they will definitely leave a fine on your windscreen such a shame as the shops and boat rides must be losing money from this
Hi I dont plan on staying overnight in whitby only going for the day. I know they don't like campers but I've got the ok from council to park in any coach bay for £10 I do know a few parkups near town if I get there very early I used to go to whitby every weekend to the auctions in big vans for good 10 years
