Same here. I don’t know why I have this in me. Like you said I can knock out an entire container like a bag of chips 😳 Gotta keep them out of the house lol
Had the costco cookie recently and was pleasantly surprised. I must have gotten one freshly made because the center was gooey with melted chocolate chips, which I'm a fan of. The crunchy outside paired with the gooey middle was worth it imo. Probably best to eat it right when you get it
they all have gooey chocolate in the middle. when he said the bakery one had more chocolate i was like it’s because you didn’t make it to the middle. i love the food court cookie
Yes, I know the box and food court ones definitely don’t taste the same! I feel like the boxed ones are lacking the caramelized flavor, butter would do it!
Just started watching more of your videos boss man. Really really appreciate your approach and simple videos. Keep being honest and not as dramatic as others, and I'll keep watching your videos
You also have to take into account the amounts. Some people only want the one cookie, whether its due to dieting, self control, limiting for children, or any other reason. They're not going to want to buy the whole tray when they don't need the whole tray! 😊
No way, man. That food court cookie is crunchy on the outside, chewy and gooey on the inside, and served nice and warm... it's magnificent. The bakery cookies are good, but it's just an improved Chips Ahoy.
Fun fact. The food court cookies are actually baked in the bakery first then the food court just runs them through to heat them up Edit: some of you all are missing the point. The cookie dough balls for the food court come in frozen. They are baked in the bakery from frozen early in the morning, and then the food court comes and gets them before the store opens. The cookies are baked on sheet pans, and then the sheet pans are put on a rack to cool and then the rack is covered and brought to food court. When its time to make cookies to serve to customers, they just pop em in the pizza oven to warm them up
@@jordandrukqsz4026I agree, they taste completely different to me, both in flavor and texture! Unless an actual store employee can prove they are the same dough, I don’t believe they are the same!
I just got a box of coookies from my Costco. And they had the BIG cookies in the bakery bundle. Super soft, sliiight crunch on outside. And it was food court sized! So maybe they listened to you and changed it up!
The verdict based on the reactions surprised me! Love the videos. Please consider comparing g/$ vs $/g. I always have to reframe it in my head for a second every time!
I remember buying those exact cookies 11 years ago and gathered a crowd in my class at elementary school while we quietly munched on the cookies while forming in a circle. 😂
You can double bake the bakery cookies with a little bit of water in a ramekin to steam bake it. Makes it crispy outside with a chewy inside. I also add a little flake salt.
I love your reviews. On this one, you could have given us an added bonus. You never know how honest the bakeries, delis, or butchers are with their scales. You could have double-checked the weight. Plus, things like cookies that dry out can lose weight over time.
Could you compare Costco food court cookies with Starbucks chocolate chunk cookie? Also could you do Albertsons chocolate chunk cookies vs Costco chocolate chunk cookies? I’m genuinely interested.
The bakery ones. I was visiting a friend and she had 2 cases. We got high asf & i ate 4 of them cookies then took 8 cookies home w me on the plane and ate them all. Then she said i could have just taken the whole thing since she had another case. I was so sad lol. I need a membership just so i can get the cookies.
