I'm aware Mbeki doesn't like the current ANC leadership and he thinks they are criminals but I don't remember him campaigning against the ANC. He I've heard him say he couldn't support or campaign for the ANC but I really doubt he's ever openly campaigned against the ANC, Zuma for sure would have expelled him
