- Final Bout SSJ3 was an amazing collection of all the drift chassis we love - Silvia, AE86, JZX100, and a lot of unique ones as well. To see teams drive this hard and consistently together in person really gives me a new appreciation for this competition format - it may even be more exciting than regular tandem format.

You have to build a Jimney?
That drift Jimmy is from Kinokuni. It has a full SR20 drivetrain and suspension. Really neat build.

Mayyyyyybe. It really just depends on location/timing/travel cost and how well it fits in with the channel. I always appreciate the suggestions though! I want to get out and explore more this year.
Was great to see all the cars rocking Car Modify Wonder! Havn't seen Haruyama in years! He drove my car at one of the first Hawaii drift events back in the early 2000s. We were in Option Mag together because of it. Changed the entire course of my life
Oh wow, that is awesome! What an experience. I still want to stop by and check out his shop some day. The black Glare kitted zenki S14 on WMB CR Kai's is burned in my mind. I don't know how many times I looked at that car. High quality unique style aero.
Would love to have a 40min long vid with no commentary.just to enjoy all the sounds.

@BRICKHOUSESPL Yeah, i love their videos. I find pit walks relaxing, so I really liked the no commentary part a lot. NDF does a great job as well. Of course, i only watch this to relax and as background to study.
@@M.asa. oh, yeah, speaking of NDF, shuboxinc's pit walks are probably right up your alley. Long form. No talking. I'm sure you've his if you've seen NDF content, but, if not, his is a good watch too.

I do my best to attend every FinalBout near me here in the states, and even the ones 18 hours away! IMO they are the best drift events, with the best cars, and the best atmosphere.
Its been a dream of mine to visit Japan..thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the awesome video. Learning about this sport is so interesting. Seeing the spectators and hearing the announcer speak in Japanese and English lends to the excitement of the event. Team drifting way cool!
The announcer is Robbie Nishida absolutely ridiculous with the simultaneous bilingual announcing. He would say something in one language and turn around and say it naturally in the other. I was equally impressed with his announcing as I was the cars! Haha

Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! It's gotta be in my top 5 wagons for just overall body shape. I love wagons but sometimes they look like sedans with a rear added. Datsun 510 and 411 and newer E46 and E90 era BMW tourings are also super solid.

@@jonwebb9261 You guys have a HEAP of cool cars. You've been getting the good stuff since they were new! It's the most logical market to expand into next in my mind. It wasn't just Americans and Japanese at this event - the love for Final Bout seems to be global.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL yeah you're completely right, there's some awesome cars and builds here. I just meant drift events in particular, no decent venues are interested in hosting them. There's certainly scope for some cool events here though and it's something we'll work on actively
