I’m worried CrossFit is making me hold onto fat. I go 3x a week and I can see more muscle growth, but still quite a lot of fat. I wonder whether or not CrossFit is the right form of exercise for me. Maybe I’d be better off doing more cardio, low weights high reps and Pilates/yoga. I suffer with fatigue quicker than most even just from going to work and maybe CrossFit is just too much. Everyone is different! Thanks tor this video 🙏 going to see if I can get my hormones tested also!
@@sa1ada it’s a bit of a complex one, diet etc have a huge part to play. Calories in and Calories out as well as stress levels! Some weeks I feel like I’m making progress and other weeks I feel terrible. But fluctuating hormones could have a lot to do with that also!
@@ShaeTaylorLife definitely trying this now thanks. I think it’s fine to go to CrossFit and tell your trainer you would rather do more reps with lighter weight than try to do less reps or more broken with heavier weight. It’s easy to get sucked into lifting as heavy as you can because that’s what everyone else is doing!
Here is my favorite fitness tracking watch! Definitely a motivator for running.

I’m going through the same thing. I’m gaining weight doing CrossFit and easily fatigued faster.
@sa1ada try lifting less weight or less intensity
