It was such a treat to have that walk with you, a mini hoiday. Thank you for all that interesting information, also liked the addition of the map at the start so I knew exactly where you were. Cheers.
Straight after I saw this video, I went to search for The Prama but ended up booking the hotel that was listed underneath. At $225 a night, not quite in my budget, but all those hotels on the beach look great. You both did a great job and my wife and I can't wait to eat at a lot of those beach Restaurants. The place has changed so much since 2018. Thanks for that big effort in the heat.
Good to hear the Prama is nice - I will be there in three weeks for ten nights - can’t wait 😝 Great informative vlog - thanks Richard and Karen (looking part of the furniture now) 😂😂😂
Well done! That is one heck of a long walk……we also stayed at Prama but we never walked, we had pushbikes and would cycle everywhere……which was easy going and fun! We loved the Prama for the most amazing breakfast buffet and the pool. Unfortunately that’s all we liked, the safety box in the room never worked and we asked daily for service and never got it. Also I asked daily for a hairdryer and they kept insisting there was one in the room, it wasn’t until our 12th day there that they bothered to get me one. But the most disgusting thing …….the pools towels they gave me were damp and smelly, when I mentioned that they said they had to give me someone else’s towels because they ran out and fresh towels wouldn’t be available for another hour. 🤬🤬🤬. I didn’t like the fact that guests hog the sun loungers by reserving them with towels for the day but don’t actually use the loungers 😱😱 We did enjoy eating at Jack Fish and the other cheap warungs!
Must have been lots of Europeans staying there reserving those seats, Germans especially. The Prama is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but obviously not.
Hi, i have no knowledge of sanur at all…. I will be coming to the intercontinental bali sanur resort for breakfast from a cruise ship and would really appreciate it, if you could do a video from the back of the hotel, and show whats along the footpath, and let me see if there are any shopping stalls along that area.. tia🙏🏽
@@roamingRichard yes, i have just sent someone else’s video, and it looks like there is no clothes shopping along that path, only massage places and cafes 😢😥
@@aussiewoman57 I did do a video a while ago which we walked from south to north along the beach path. Have a look at that and you will see what’s in the area 👍
Great video however is there any particular reason why you didn't hardly show the beach along your walking video? I thought it would be one of the main attractions for coming there. Thanks.
great video ! am local and love to see so many tourist there

Hi thanks for watching
It was around lunch time
Gosh, so quiet for that time of day! And lovely to be able to walk that kind of distance in Bali without traffic.@@roamingRichard
@@daniellerichard1385 yes it is quiet at the moment

Thanks for watching , we thought the water and beach have been shown a lot and there is changes regularly within the environment around the beach
Is that big concrete structure one of the Russian development projects? Love your walk
This is the new Icon development with shopping facilities
Seems boring imo
Thank you for watching
