I recently bought the longest Craftsman new at a flea market. I was pleasantly surprised to find the rest of the set at Walmart. They are surprisingly well made for the price.
@@Jaspel I recently got a 36inch USA made pry bar for under $20 at my local walmart. All 3 locations carry them. They also offer other USA items now like scrapers.
I have a bunch of Wilde tools: pliers, prybars, and punches. IMO, their punches are even better than Mayhew, albeit not by much. I'm very impressed with their drifts. I also really like their Channellock-style slip joint pliers. The prybars, IMO, are also very good. I recall seeing them at Walmart and thought they were an excellent value there. I own the Craftsman/Wilde prybar set along with a full assortment of Mayhew, including screwdriver style and their 58" monster, and the SO 4-piece set. Aside from extreme circumstances, the Wilde do the job at a very reasonable price.
I want to chime in here and update a few things.. the new wilde pry bars are now exactly like the hyper tough shown in this video.. same handle, same everything. They dont have made in usa stampings on the bar itself and do seem less robust then the handle shown in this video. It’s now the same exact pry bar as the hyper tough from wally world. I’d just get them from there if you can at this point…
@@Jaspel its Wild E, you pronounced it correct. Jouri from harry j epstein chimed in on a thread about wilde and cleared the pronounciation up on garage journal!

25" bar at walmart is only $10 out the door sometimes $9 depending on location
I've noticed some stopped carrying in store when they got the hart tools.

Personally, I love the striking cap on the handle. I have caused a bit of damage to a pry bar handle with a hammer.
Thanks for the info.
Thanks! Please consider subscribing, it really helps small channels like mine.
