Bravo Mack! The Mack Super of the Road ! 40 Years I,Work With F 700 in IRAN ! Now I'm in Germany ! I , will working in the U.S.A Best Contrary in the World! Thank You Dear MACK: Best Master of the Roads!🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🌵
Nice truck. Too bouncy-bouncy for me. Wind push from other vehicles pushes these Mack's to the shoulder causing over-steer. Potholes are almost a vertical bounce like a cab-over. The 3-4 " on the set back design with the Pitman/steering assembly is the cause. Those are big things. Little things? Plastic inside door-window control switches are light plastic and they break off with little pressure, so handle lightly. All of the drawers in the sleeper area do not latch down good when closed. you must pull on the outside edge of each drawer to check for solid closure or they will fly open when you are moving. No bulb replacement on the headlights. They are all plastic reflector shields inside the exterior clear lens (similar to tin foil) with a computerized bite-card wired through to the switch/fuse box/computer. Learn how to adjust. MP-8 engines hold up real good, smooth, easy start, relatively quiet (for a diesel). Turn almost on a dime forward and backing. Very easy to bend the metal supports for the black fins lining the rear of the cabin. Easy to push back into shape. Just beware, these Macks like to turn sharp with the set-back design on the steering assembly. Hood closure is a bear sometimes. Push down on top of driver fender first THEN go to passenger side and push down on top of the passenger fender second. Vibration will offset hood closure in wear and tear (slight warpage) on the plastic and fiberglass parts for the hood. Going down the road a corner of the hood will pop up causing the other side to pop up. That can get nasty. Remember driver side first then the passenger side for closing. Plastic attachment parts to the under-dash section will pop off below the steering sector on the interior to right on top of your feet at the foot controls. Overall? Nice ride, little bouncy, stay alert to your control in windy conditions or when being passed. The rest is normal pre-trip stuff anyway. Pricy truck for the "adjustments" needed to keep it up as a daily. Nice to look at though.
Beautiful MACK TRUCKS are the best thats the only thing my dad would have when he was trucking pulling flatbed
It’s nice to see that you can get a stainless grill surround all the way around the grill
