Starting Point: Grand Avenue goo.gl/maps/XY... .
Los Angeles, officially the City of Los Angeles and often known by its initials L.A., is the second-most populous city (over 18 million) in the United States (after New York City), the most populous city in California. Situated in Southern California, Los Angeles is known for its Mediterranean climate, ethnic diversity, sprawling metropolis, and as a major center of the American entertainment industry. Los Angeles lies in a large coastal basin surrounded on three sides by mountains reaching up to and over 10,000 feet.
Nicknamed the "City of Angels", Los Angeles is a global city with a diverse economy in entertainment, culture, media, fashion, science, sports, technology, education, medicine and research. The city is one of the most substantial economic engines within the United States. The area economy is the third-largest in the world, after the Greater Tokyo and New York metropolitan areas.
Los Angeles includes Hollywood and leads the world in the creation of television productions and recorded music; it is also one of the leaders in motion picture production.
L.A. hosted the Summer Olympic Games in 1932 and 1984 and is bidding to host the 2024 Summer Olympics and thus become the second city to have hosted the Games three times (after London).
Economy
The economy of Los Angeles is driven by international trade, entertainment (television, motion pictures, video games, music recording, and production), aerospace, technology, petroleum, fashion, apparel, and tourism. Other significant industries include finance, telecommunications, law, healthcare, and transportation. Three of the six major film studios-Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and Universal Pictures-are located within the city limits.
Los Angeles is the largest manufacturing center in the western United States.
Race and Ethnicity
Los Angeles is home to people from more than 140 countries speaking 224 different identified languages. Ethnic enclaves like Chinatown, Historic Filipinotown, Koreatown, Little Armenia, Little Ethiopia, Tehrangeles, Little Tokyo, Little Bangladesh and Thai Town provide examples of the polyglot character of Los Angeles.
Culture
Los Angeles is often billed as the "Creative Capital of the World", because one in every six of its residents works in a creative industry and there are more artists, writers, filmmakers, actors, dancers and musicians living and working in Los Angeles than any other city at any time in history.
Movies and the Performing Arts
The city's Hollywood neighborhood has become recognized as the center of the motion picture industry. Los Angeles plays host to the annual Academy Awards and is the site of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, the oldest film school in the United States.
Sports
The city of Los Angeles and its metropolitan area is the home of nine major league professional sports teams. These teams include the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of Major League Baseball (MLB), the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL), the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL), the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer (MLS), and the Los Angeles Sparks.
Landmarks
Important landmarks in Los Angeles include the Hollywood Sign, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Capitol Records Building, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, Angels Flight, TCL Chinese Theatre, Dolby Theatre, Griffith Observatory, Getty Center, Getty Villa, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Venice Canal Historic District and boardwalk, Theme Building, Bradbury Building, U.S. Bank Tower, Wilshire Grand Tower, Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles City Hall, Hollywood Bowl, Battleship USS Iowa, Watts Towers, Staples Center, Dodger Stadium, and Olvera Street.

LA native and still here. Many commenting have made honest observations of my city. There are pockets of life but mostly lifeless areas. Without a car, it can be very difficult getting around conveniently. It can affect your employment opportunities. Also, it can be socially awkward and for the guys, women might even reject you if you ask them out because of that. That's how deep car culture is in LA. LA is not a city in the traditional sense as it's not centralized. It's a big suburban area with many neighborhoods under one name. For those that have been to major cities around the world, the differences are obvious.
For the dreamers out there, if you want to make it here, don't come if you're going to be making less than 50k a year. Even then, you might have to room with someone you don't know. It's becoming more expensive. Nice neighborhoods have their share of homeless people too. Bring your A+ game because you're not the only talented person with wonderful bullshit. If you're still reading this and still have a desire to make it in LA, welcome.
@68atome hes exaggeratting or doesnt know the way people actually live besides himself. fact of the matter is theres a fuck ton of people living in LA, most of them are not rich and id say a giant portion of them arent even making 50k a year. you can get a studio apartment for arpund 900-1100, rooming wpuld obvipusly be cheaper. you just have to accept not living in central areas in the city or living in the nearby suburbs. the valley itself is a lot cheaper than the basin area minus like the ghettos or something. if youre single, no kids, whatever, you can make it fine. just gotta have some good work ethic and be willing to live in a smaller living space than you would in some smaller city/cheaper city. people say the same shit about NY and honestly if you just look for a studio or roommate youre mostly fine as long as you live in the outer boroughs. not gonna lie and say moving to LA or any major city is easy if only the rich or wealthy actually could afford to live in these places they wouldnt be giant cities

Thank you for this! I know this seems silly, but I'm absolutely terrified of driving in bigger cities (grew up in a tiny town), and this helps me so much! When I watch this i'm always anxiety ridden, but by the end I feel a lot more comfortable. Thanks!
I can look at this All Day
Do you live in Los Angeles?
Lucky you
I just found ths websight I'm born and raised in LA. It made my day to find all these pics of CA. Mom was born in SF she moved to LA when she was five. Her mother also was born in SF she saw the SF fire. Dad is still there he's 94. Thank You So Much!!
Love LA..
Thank you allowing me travelling for free !
I`m living in Russia, 156 miles notherly Moscow in Yaroslavl sity.
The car travelling is my favorite resting.
I`d been used all roads around my own region.
Yours spectacular video takes me a posibilitie to discover The US, in virtual of course.
Thank you, especially for 4k.
Good luck.
Hey, you have the same surname as Lenin! Any connection?
By the way, Ярослáвль is a city with historic landmarks, LA would never match.
Why don't you upload a driving tour around great Russian cities: Moscow and Leningrad?
here is no connection, unfortunately. Lenin was Ульянов. It`s biggest different.
Zorro Alphonso Moscow isn 't all of the Russia, same Leningrad. There are many beautiful cities in Russia so as cities of Kazan and Yoshkar-Ola
I love Los Angeles CA better than I do than New York since I was Born from Los Angeles CA in 1949
Bias. NYC is #1 by far, which is why you brought it up instead of your real rival that you cannot compete with, Chicago.
Incredible I will be going to Los Angeles for 2 weeks
Take some video :)
J Utah Ok I will do that for sure
One day i will live in L.A....
Just move to Tijuana. Looks just like LA, but much much cheaper

No talking, no music..... great video:)
L.A. looks lovely. Historic down town and enormous buildings!
I saw more historic buildings then I expected. A lot of areas I saw had few pedestrians for such a huge city. I've never really been to LA. I enjoyed the ride.
one day...

You promised an hour long Los Angeles video and you did not disappoint! I like that you also took us through those tunnels we've seen in so many movies, especially the one under Grand Ave. The curvy one has some memorable scenes too, though.
Jesus smiles and an angel gets it's wings each time you edit out sitting at a stop light. I can do that here at home.
Absolutely outstanding cinematography...eye candy!🥂

You need literally a month to see all the different things you can do there and all the different things to see there.
I lived there for 11 years, now I've been living back in my hometown in PA going on 12 years. I really would love to go back. I miss LA so much. Maybe I'll have a summer place there.

Sooo cool,fanstastic
Soo much development going on in downtown La right now if you visit again you won’t recognize it
Beautiful videos my friend
Bonne journée et bon réveil et bonne route
I'm pleased to see that you Americans drive calmly compared to us - this is safe both for pedestrians as well as for the drivers themselves (I live in the Southern Russia and we have many eager migrants from Caucasian republics). The speed limit for Russian cities is 60 km/h by default (37 mph) but our rules allow driving as fast as 79 km/h (49 mph) without getting fined.
WildfireRND I think we might just be more scared of the consequences of hitting someone!! Jailtime, lawsuits, etc. You can turn your life and the lives of others upside down in an instant. Even in accidents between cars, the other person might try to sue the clothes off your back.
WildfireRND although I have to say some cities are still crazy...if you watch an NYC video the driving is much more chaotic
Oh hun around my place 49 mph is very slow
@@Nicolina1286 in NYC, you have to get in where you fit in or someone else will! Add to that tourists who get nervous, and you can understand.
Gorgeous
Forgot to drive through Skid Row, Inglewood, and Compton
Thank you very much. Your videos are amazing. I have been waiting for this long video about Los Angeles for a long time. Your videos enable me to see american cities.

Super.
Adorei os vídeos .
Excellent video, just what I was looking for, thanks.
What did you use to film this footage? And how does it retain the quality when you upload it? Thanks
Cool video for sure. Thanks for the upload
i always found amusing the fact that in LA there is like, six +100 floors buildings right in the center of the city, and the rest is like super small structures and houses
Love your videos! I watch them all the time. Thank you
I love your videos from Japan
thanks for this upload. Great, just showing LA downtown with no chatter or music!
Thanks for letting me know :D
Great video, thanks!
So what is happening around 22:30, they are shooting for a movie or something right?
Yes. 1:06:02 Action !
keep clean on road
DTLA is definitely improving, but it's still a pretty dead downtown compared to most other city centers. There are many parts of downtown that still need to be "activated" as in there isn't much there for the pedestrian experience. Also a lot of pawn shop type places that make the area look ghetto.
Los Angeles is a cultural and logistical dumpster fire.
Most American cities are dumpster fires, no doubt. LA is the epitome of this, though. Half your day is spent sitting in traffic and the other half is spent dealing with fake, sleazy people. No wonder J. Cole dubbed Los Angeles The LAnd of Snakes.
Tod Tellin It's because the psychiatric wards are dropping mentally ill people on the streets when they are done with them. That and hospitals dump people on the streets. It's a systemic issue and can be controlled. But the city does not want to lend out a hand. For such a first world nation, the US is really trashy.

Magnificence and extreme in sentences
I was just down there last to check out the Broad Museum. Good vid
The Video is a Wonderful for My Love City of Los Angeles
Wonderful city
Los Angeles seems to be a good city, but I would feel sad living there. It seems to be a city with great vivacity in relation to nature, but there is a little life on the streets.
Los Angeles is a sprawling, low energy driving city. Polar opposite of NYC, Chicago, SF, Boston, DC, and Philly.
polacy Pisac po polsku a Nie Po angielsku
LA comes alive at night ..what a beautiful sight from Dodger Stadium.....all the restaurants that put out tables on the curb...
I don't know, it seems like their is still a lot of areas with people on the streets. 26:42 onwards is one of the big areas.
I mean, 1:11:05. There is no life on the street? I'm confused.
I live in New York so I know what lively is.
Great vídeo! Awesome!
Very comprehensive! I'm enjoying this bc I like DTLA but if you sped it up a little, we could enjoy it and save some time.
Just go to settings and play it in 2x speed.
post more frequently pls. i like your videos, such good quality!
Putting up great videos keep it up Sir. All you've been in California a lot switch it up a bit😂. Maybe Phoenix or New England. Maybe Oakland Lol. Love your videos!
Wow, you did a great job. Thank you.
I love this! I miss downtown LA
It's a tough video to watch when you want to go straight ahead and the driver turns right.
do you drive your same car in all these cities or are you flying and renting cars?
j’aime Los Anges Love LA Belle vidéo :)
I visited LA last year and its true we drove around many many places and hardly saw anyone out in the streets. As a New Yorker it was very strange lol
LA isn’t particularly known for their downtown area. LA is mostly crowded in the neighborhoods, like Hollywood, the Pier, etc.
There’s really not a lot for people to do there. There’s no great shopping, festivals, or events, usually. It’s not like Chicago or NYC - which are downtown’s that are known for those things.
In LA, there’s basically just major corporations, downtown, and that’s it. Everyone goes out in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, the beach.
To be honest the city is packed and lots of activities going on at the same time i'm going in May, wish i could just go to Memphis In May as well but you know monetary issues, anyways i can't wait to hang out and see my family there!
These videos are very attractive & good to see, but who are not able to go to these places will be disappointed sometime.
Nice vídeo! 🇧🇷.
I think you'll love Los Angeles CA we have star bucks coffee shop around there some where but it's prices are going up
