Bakura is hands down the best antagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! entirely. He waited patiently from the beginning of the series until he got the spotlight in season 5. Very cunning indeed. Bakura is my absolute favorite character that I own Funko Pop of him. 😊
The ost version 4kids of Bakura, is beautiful with these oriental rhythms. One of my favorites with that of Atem and Egyptian God . Because honestly I prefer the original Japanese soundtrack. Even if that of 4kids has charm in terms of sound as well. (And I'm not saying that I like this OST only because I like Bakura very much, the best YGO antagonist)
Now you know that if people hated Bakura's character its because the VA did a great job in portraying the character and the creators did a great job with his storyline.

Still my number 1 villain in all of Yu gi oh, truly evil with no redemption and even had a tragic backstory that made me feel actually sorry for him
Oh 100%. I love Pegasus, Marik, And Dartz as much as the next guy but Bakura was just built up so well throughout the series and had a great payoff
