It shouldn't be understated just how much impact Ironmouse has left behind. She has a condition that keeps her bedridden but it doesn't stop her from doing what she loves most. That alone already makes her a VTuber legend in my eyes. ❤

Watching that first podcast episode they did with Calliope Mori close to her debut on Hololive English you can tell Connor has zero idea what a "VTuber" is and hasn't got a clue what the whole thing is about lol Not much later, he'd be deeply intrenched in the VTubing world (and even get a character of his own!).
Ironmouse has also had quite an impact outside of the VTubing world. She has quite literally *saved lives* : - She inspired other people with chronic conditions and illnesses to take up VTubing as a viable career choice, and gave strength to countless others. - Hospitals have reported a significant increase in plasma donations with a lot of new donors mentioning Ironmouse as the main reason they started donating. -Most importantly, largely due to the funds raised by Connor and her through their charity streams, the IDF successfully managed to *lobby congress for legislation that actually forces insurance companies to cover Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders* such as CVID, meaning people who suffer from such diseases no longer have to become destitute in order to live with their condition. The world really is a better place for having Ironmouse exist in it.
The third one is Mousey's strongest impact in my opinion. Imagine in the future, a law on improving PID diagnosis, treatment and coverage would be enacted and be named after her.

As someone who struggled with immune issues my whole life and parents who just said suck it up and deal with it growing up I connected to Ironmouse when i 1st found her on twitch. I dealt with chronic sinus/ear infections and chronic bronchitis growing up and joint issues that made no sense but my parents just told me to get up and move it anyway. It took me getting in my 30's and finally not being able to work anymore for me find answers. Thankfully i found a doctor who listened to me a tested me for everything she could think of and I found out I have R.A aka rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and my doctor said based on medical history as a child....my parents should of helped me because she felt i had both since i was a kid and it had gotten so bad because I didn't get treatment when i needed it the most. When I had to finally leave the work force because of my mobility issues....i felt so lonely, useless, and a burden but i found Ironmouse and i felt inspired to not give up and i became a vtuber. I hope one day I can talk to her and tell her thank you for showing me i was not done yet and there was still something i could do. Thank you for making this video Rima.
If you think she is faking her condition. Some of her old streams you can hear the medical devices pumping/working in the background. You can hear her putting on her medications/bandages live on air. You can also tell how her voice has being improved from the time she started and vs to now. Twitch and her friends is literally keeping her alive longer than wasting away alone in her bedroom bubble.
Ironmouse is, in my opinion, the embodiment of a Cinderella story. Her illness (CIVD) caused her to plunge into despair, but in that despair Ironmouse found the fairy (or devil in this case) that’d grant her an opportunity for only until midnight (or in this case until COVID had a vaccine), and she did as much as she could until that time. The result: Ironmouse managed to not only get the attention of some universally important people, but also managed to give her illness the middle finger that it deserved. And to that I say, thank you Ironmouse for being born.
Knowing how much mousey love disney and even applied to be a disney princess before (man is she overqualified frfr) I feel she reminds me more of a heroine from the many movies by studio Ghibli. Like Miyazaki Hayao once said and i quote “Many of my movies have strong female leads - brave, self-sufficient girls that don’t think twice about fighting for what they believe in with all their heart. Before the flower stream Mouse was tested and her doctors confirmed that she had caught COVID (not CVID her condition). She was terrified about the uncertainty having caught something severely harmful to someone with an auto immune disorder. She and Connor decided to go through with the stream, Connor making it even more special, to help her through getting such bad news. I can't watch it without crying knowing what she was going through then. Thankfully her doctors were prepared for this and went right to work to help her. She talked about all this on stream before.
I'm 45, I never would have thought I'd be into Vtubers but here we are. And Ironmouse is one of the first I got into and still watch her because she's hilarious. Plus she inspires even me, how can I complain when she pushes through it all? Makes me stop and think about what I can do!!
That was the very 1st clip of a Vtuber i ever saw, i was pulled into the rabbit hole at that very moment. I am just nearing my 3rd year sub aniversary to her now, She is amazing and i will support her as long as she streams.
Watching her journey over the years has been nothing short of inspiring. I remember when she couldn't even attempt certain songs or could only stream a few hours a day. Now she got a treadmill and is doing physical therapy to regain her mobility. She's getting back everything life tried to take from her all the while making thousands smile.
It's because of IronMouse that I'm pursuing my own dream of becoming an opera singer. After reading about everything that she's gone through in life, and then hearing her sing I thought to myself "If she can get that good in spite of everything, what's my excuse?" 💜💜 Much love and continued success to her.

I have a lot of medical issues myself, nowhere near as debilitating as Ironmouse, but enough to make my life a struggle more often than not. Every time it gets to me and I start feeling sorry for myself or feeling frustrated over the crap I have to go through, it really does help to think about Mousey. Her ability to live through and despite her problems legit motivates me to do better and be thankful for all things I can still do, medical problems be damned.

It was super sweet. I also love that Mousey doesn't let the CVID bring her down, making the most of the time she has. Bringing in achievement after achievement (also reaching 1 mill on RUclips not long ago, eventhough she mainly streams on Twitch). Just want to say, thanks for telling the stories of various VTubers. I never watched Ironmouse and I never would have known about her story if it wasn't for your channel! Truly inspiring to see what people can do despite their circumstances.
Its missing the "Raise the Timer" clip from the subathon when it was at 1 day remaining and Cdawg/Bubi came on and did a speech. Well the Subathon went for quite a while after that.
Fun fact I learned from watching her streams way back in Feb-March 2020, she hinted that she originally started streaming without an avatar on you now, opted to switch to use one after getting comments about all her medical equipment being visible. The beginning of her big rise started when Projekt Melody raided her channel from offsite, which I think is why she would get so emotional when talking with Melody around each of their birthdays. I'm happy that I was able to see her grow from a two-view into what she is now, and even happier to know that her success has had a positive impact on her health. Not to minimize the stress it more than likely caused, her becoming a twitch partner was delayed because she was she got botted with ~120k followers; sadly getting botted was a somewhat common occurrence in the early days.
Mousey is one of the most amazing people out there. She's so fricking strong. I love her so much. I learned to know her around peak nux taku era when he only made stuff on his main account. Mousey wasn't that big yet. Her vibing with nux and melody or being a guest at rant cafe anime podcast were highlights for me. Because of her i found so many new people to watch. The amount of joy i feel when i see her make her dreams come true. It's truly unbelievable.
Ironmouse inspired me to stream! I'm chronically ill and disabled too (i have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and POTs) and I've struggled to find a job for years. When i found her i raised streaming was a fun and viable option for me! I was like hey, I game all the time, let's be productive with it! I literally JUST started but I hope to be like her someday QwQ

Ironmouse is the most inspirational Vtuber of them all to me. For all that she has accomplished, to where she was to where she is now (especially health-wise), to those she have informed about CVID and her condition (give Plasma!), to the community she has fostered on the way - I don't think anyone compares. And to add to it - she's incredibly entertaining, loveable, and talented (what a voice!). If there was a Mt. As someone who struggled with immune issues my whole life and parents who just said suck it up and deal with it growing up I connected to Ironmouse when i 1st found her on twitch. I dealt with chronic sinus/ear infections and chronic bronchitis growing up and joint issues that made no sense but my parents just told me to get up and move it anyway. It took me getting in my 30's and finally not being able to work anymore for me find answers. Thankfully i found a doctor who listened to me a tested me for everything she could think of and I found out I have R.A aka rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and my doctor said based on medical history as a child....my parents should of helped me because she felt i had both since i was a kid and it had gotten so bad because I didn't get treatment when i needed it the most. When I had to finally leave the work force because of my mobility issues....i felt so lonely, useless, and a burden but i found Ironmouse and i felt inspired to not give up and i became a vtuber. I hope one day I can talk to her and tell her thank you for showing me i was not done yet and there was still something i could do. Thank you for making this video Rima.
If you think she is faking her condition. Some of her old streams you can hear the medical devices pumping/working in the background. You can hear her putting on her medications/bandages live on air. You can also tell how her voice has being improved from the time she started and vs to now. Twitch and her friends is literally keeping her alive longer than wasting away alone in her bedroom bubble.
Not to forget there's also a couple of clips of here with connor while he plays when she's taking her medicine which makes her sleepy.

Ironmouse is, in my opinion, the embodiment of a Cinderella story. Her illness (CIVD) caused her to plunge into despair, but in that despair Ironmouse found the fairy (or devil in this case) that’d grant her an opportunity for only until midnight (or in this case until COVID had a vaccine), and she did as much as she could until that time. The result: Ironmouse managed to not only get the attention of some universally important people, but also managed to give her illness the middle finger that it deserved. And to that I say, thank you Ironmouse for being born.
Knowing how much mousey love disney and even applied to be a disney princess before (man is she overqualified frfr) I feel she reminds me more of a heroine from the many movies by studio Ghibli. Like Miyazaki Hayao once said and i quote “Many of my movies have strong female leads - brave, self-sufficient girls that don’t think twice about fighting for what they believe in with all their heart. They’ll need a friend, or a supporter, but never a savior.” This to me describes mousey so much better than a disney princess.

Well she wanted to become an opera singer and she has already done multiple 3D solo concerts. One of them is quite recent u should check it out!

Before the flower stream Mouse was tested and her doctors confirmed that she had caught COVID (not CVID her condition). She was terrified about the uncertainty having caught something severely harmful to someone with an auto immune disorder.
She and Connor decided to go through with the stream, Connor making it even more special, to help her through getting such bad news.
I can't watch it without crying knowing what she was going through then.
Thankfully her doctors were prepared for this and went right to work to help her.
She talked about all this on stream before.
I'm 45, I never would have thought I'd be into Vtubers but here we are. And Ironmouse is one of the first I got into and still watch her because she's hilarious. Plus she inspires even me, how can I complain when she pushes through it all? Makes me stop and think about what I can do!!
One amazing moment was that one stream that she had a donations goal to buy a new bed and the goal was achieved in like 2 minutes.
That was the very 1st clip of a Vtuber i ever saw, i was pulled into the rabbit hole at that very moment. I am just nearing my 3rd year sub aniversary to her now, She is amazing and i will support her as long as she streams.

Watching her journey over the years has been nothing short of inspiring. I remember when she couldn't even attempt certain songs or could only stream a few hours a day. Now she got a treadmill and is doing physical therapy to regain her mobility. She's getting back everything life tried to take from her all the while making thousands smile.
Her name is even inspirational, small and fragile, as a mouse, but a will as strong as Iron.

It's because of IronMouse that I'm pursuing my own dream of becoming an opera singer. After reading about everything that she's gone through in life, and then hearing her sing I thought to myself "If she can get that good in spite of everything, what's my excuse?" 💜💜 Much love and continued success to her.

I have a lot of medical issues myself, nowhere near as debilitating as Ironmouse, but enough to make my life a struggle more often than not. Every time it gets to me and I start feeling sorry for myself or feeling frustrated over the crap I have to go through, it really does help to think about Mousey. Her ability to live through and despite her problems legit motivates me to do better and be thankful for all things I can still do, medical problems be damned.
It’s always a bit difficult to hear about Mouse and Conner’s exploits without the ceiling being in danger 🥲 Just the pure, genuine affection and care they have for each other.

Ironmouse is one of the reasons why I like Vtubers so much. Not only are they more fun that typical RUclipsrs, they also allow people who would otherwise be unable to be successful due to illnesses and things like that, to actually be successful.

I did love the newyear stream of Mousey in Vr-chat. It was a bit clunky, using the vr-gear laying down, but they made it work. It was super sweet.
I also love that Mousey doesn't let the CVID bring her down, making the most of the time she has. Bringing in achievement after achievement (also reaching 1 mill on RUclips not long ago, eventhough she mainly streams on Twitch).
The thing I hope is that she will be able to do that promise they made (Connor and Mousey) that: if Mousey is able to walk for longer periods of times, they can get that beer she always wanted to try.

Its missing the "Raise the Timer" clip from the subathon when it was at 1 day remaining and Cdawg/Bubi came on and did a speech. Well the Subathon went for quite a while after that.
Fun fact I learned from watching her streams way back in Feb-March 2020, she hinted that she originally started streaming without an avatar on you now, opted to switch to use one after getting comments about all her medical equipment being visible. The beginning of her big rise started when Projekt Melody raided her channel from offsite, which I think is why she would get so emotional when talking with Melody around each of their birthdays. I'm happy that I was able to see her grow from a two-view into what she is now, and even happier to know that her success has had a positive impact on her health. Not to minimize the stress it more than likely caused, her becoming a twitch partner was delayed because she was she got botted with ~120k followers; sadly getting botted was a somewhat common occurrence in the early days.

Ironmouse inspired me to stream! I'm chronically ill and disabled too (i have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and POTs) and I've struggled to find a job for years. When i found her i raised streaming was a fun and viable option for me! I was like hey, I game all the time, let's be productive with it! I literally JUST started but I hope to be like her someday QwQ
She's my biggest creator inspiration. I'm not a vtuber but I've got rare chronic health issues and she taught us that you can push through it.

Ironmouse is the most inspirational Vtuber of them all to me. For all that she has accomplished, to where she was to where she is now (especially health-wise), to those she have informed about CVID and her condition (give Plasma!), to the community she has fostered on the way - I don't think anyone compares. And to add to it - she's incredibly entertaining, loveable, and talented (what a voice!). If there was a Mt. Rushmore of Vtubing, I would probably put Kizuna Ai, Gura, and Ironmouse as the 3 sure things (maybe Marine or Susei for the 4th?).
