I have always loved this song. We just had our home destroyed by a hurricane in Port Charlotte, FL, and are living in a kind friend's house in Sarasota. This rendition of this song is GREATLY blessing my husband and me. Then I had a wreck, and totaled my car. The worst was we just had to put our 15 yr old lab to sleep this past Tuesday. But, we trust God to be with us, and lead us forward. He spared us from drowning during the storm too. God bless your ministry!
So blessed listening to this song. I heard this song and then realized I saw a familiar face, my cousins husband was in the choir. He went to be with the Lord and so it was such a blessing to see him singing with the choir. He loved music. Bob, I'm sure you are singing in the heavenly choir.
What a difference robes, or at the very least, choir/orchestra members dressed fairly similar. All the visual mash-mash takes away from the message of the song. Robes would solve this problem beautifully! Also, the soloist's mic needs volume turned up - the music is drowning her out. It's beautiful music and beautiful singing - just needs a bit of "tweaking". You're welcome! :-)
The key changes 4 times, but it's in 5 different keys from start to finish. I like this version, but I like other versions of it too. B flat, B, C, D flat, D.
bww2745, I would never want to take away from Lenexa or someone's personal preference. After losing my 21 year-old son in 2002 I struggled for a long time. When I moved to middle-Tennessee in 2007 my former interim pastor at FBCWPB recommended Brentwood. As a Marine vet and presently operating as an ex-pat contractor in places where the deepest, darkest, most hate-filled, war-mongering killers, kidnappers, extortionists, and others with moral depravity exist, Brentwood has been my source to turn to - they are my family and I would take a bullet for any of them. Have been to a lot of churches - each one is unique in its own way in serving and ministry but again, for me personally, it's Brentwood. Thank you for the link - God bless
bww2745 I don’t think you are right for saying that. In my opinion it sounds amazing and if you don’t see it you should listen to it again and the song is so good that my school choir is singing it

Victorious Warrior is our Lord. He has never lost a battle. I like the aged people that sang, God bless 'grandpas'and 'grandmas'.

this song sounds much better without a solo singer....only a choir....also on " Lord of everything "there are 4 key changes...

All those people who could have made it sound like a congregation singing and a solo performance instead? Disappointing.
