I only searched your channel the other day. Thought I missed a few videos. Good to see you back Luke. Great views and what an impressive mountain Geikie is.
A couple of people have said that, but I’m pretty sure we walked along them on the way to the Tyndall summit? Have got some photos from there, but didn’t record any video.
@@ChasingCheetahs nah it's definitely not those cliffs (as speccy as they are). You know you're at the right cliffs when you're looking at a 300m sheer drop into a stunning glacial lake.
It's hidden from all the viewpoints between Mt Tyndall and Geike unless you go looking for it. Absolutely worth the return trip to see it, one of the best views in the state.
No, the climb up to the range doesn't have any exposed parts or any scrambling. The initial section can get a bit tight in the tea tree, with a bit of scrub to push through, but otherwise it is just a steepish climb over low grass.
Good video luke nice area reminds me of the franklin range

Great Vid, Thanks for sharing
Nice overnight trip, and a couple of well earned drinks at the summits!
Spectacular alpine scenery!!
Nice job my friend 🙂
Nice, although it does look like you missed out on the best bit, which is the top of the cliffs overlooking Lake Huntley!

@@NickLM2008 Thanks for the tip. Need to go back sometime to do Mt Sedgewick, so will have to check it out then 👍🏻
Nice video, are there any difficult or dangerously steep bits on the climb up?

@@ChasingCheetahs thanks for the info, looks like a great walk to try
