I think we are all taking this song for granted. Here we have a Soca artist that can actually sing. Give all the other artists a microphone and they'll scream all sorts of lyrical nonsense on stage. Kerwin is a rare breed. The man has vocals that are rarely seen in the world of Soca music. For that reason, I will always pump to a Kerwin song in every fete. Furthermore, this song is MADDD in my opinion. Keep it up Kerwin!

This is quite possibly a (the) favourite song for Carnival thus far... The rhythm is something else.. It just gives me a vibes unlike the currently released songs.

I love that song i hear it every day
Love the song itself, however I'm not a fan of the riddim. But it grows on you.
I love the rhythm of the song and the lyrics from 0:14 to 0:28. When I first heard that part of the song I thought to myself that Kerwin Du Bois has again given another example of soca done right, with actual melody, by someone with real musical ability. That's as opposed to the empty, musically poor nonesense that most other artists produce.
But unfortunately the song didn't really properly embrace and build on that exceptional segment and make it the focal point. Instead it almost seems like the song has two choruses, with the "magnet" part being the other. I think they were really on to something there. But nevertheless I still enjoy and bounce to the song, especially that favourite part of mine.

It has great potential melodically - especially the chorus. But the instrumentation (lack thereof) is killing it. It's missing a nice flowing wall of sound (bass, synth or something) to match the nice melody. A great melody ruined for want of better instrumental accompaniment. He succeeded in creating an original song that sounds like it's the remix of a much better song that we haven't heard yet. LOL.
