I remember the time Alpha was announced as the tusker winner i was in class 4 Biharamulo, Tanzania. Asubuhiyake kwenye parade Mwalimu mkuu nakumbuka alikua Ishengoma Regis. Akasema eti saa wanyarwanda wameonesha wameeza. Akaongezea ati mheshimuni wanafunzi wanyarwanda huenda kesho ndoo watainiua hii shule. Since that day i and my friends we worked hard and achieved much in that school 🙏I wish to meet Alpha one day and ask him to visitmy my primary school together (Mihongora Primary school) .
I remember how I cried when Alpha was announced the winner of TPF 3. I was in high school and I had to fake sickness to get permission for me to watch the finale on Citizen TV. The last ringala song HASIRA ZA NINI..... he performed still lingers in my mind till to date. The excitement and crowd applause was overwhelming. I love his voice (dont mention it) though at times the language barrier at times brings issues. I have to search for translation just to get the meaning. BIG TIME FUN from Kenya
