Thanks! Glad you liked the video. The Soca Valley is so beautiful and there are so many fun adventures to be had there! I will definitely return to Slovenia again. 😊
Hello! I'm traveling to Slovenia next month and your video made me so excited! To visit the Soca Valley, do you need a car to get from different places? Or is there public transportation that can drive you around. Also, did you stay in an Airbnb or camp?
Hi Nico, Glad you liked the video. The Soca Valley is beautiful and you should definitely go. I would definitely recommend renting a car, it will be difficult to get around and explore otherwise. Rental cars are actually very cheap in Ljubljana. For lodging we rented an apartment way up on the hill. You can see it at the 9:40 mark on the video. Although it felt like an Airbnb we actually found it on Priceline. I would recommend renting an apartment in the town of Tolmin.
Hello! My boyfriend and I will travel to Slovenia in August, we will do different regions 💣❤ My boyfriend is very excited and I'm starting to get excited too 😂
Have fun! You made a great choice. Slovenia is one of my favorite countries. Ljubljana, Lake Bled, and the Soca Valley are all amazing and there are so many other hidden gems. I also made a video on Ljubljana and Lake Bled if you're interested. :)
Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I don't remember. The company we used mainly gives rides to the launching site for experienced paragliders with their own equipment, so special arrangements had to be made to get a pilot to fly tandem with.
Sorry for the late reply. We went with Camp Gabrje. If you arrange a booking with them, be clear to ask them specifically for tandem paragliding as they normally just drive people with their own equipment to the launch site.
Great video thanks for posting. May I ask what time of year you visited the Soca Valley?
Glad you liked the video! This footage was from the last week of May in 2018.

I live in Slovenia, I don't go to the sea I go to the mountains and Soca valley. Just to correct you it's pronounced Socha.
What company did you use for paragliding? Great video!
