Looks wonderful. We are just hesitant to book with the Explora II because this first ship was late in its delivery. Also, they keep changing how they price the cruises. They were supposed to be “set” prices in the beginning. But now they run specials like most other cruise lines. The sales reps who work for them admit they don’t quite know how things may go from month to month. Hmmm, you’d think this was MSC’s first outing. We love the idea of this cruise line, but need reassurance that it can be counted on for great service and relative pricing continuity.
Where is the luxurious dining room where you can go without these specialist dishes and have to book .The special occasions each night in your dining room not a buffet or a market but a proper international menu served by your regular waiter or steward. It looks like a help yourself.Just come back from an eighteen day cruise on the Silver Nova and after many years on Silversea that’s me finished.I don’t get what their doing to save money on these cruise lines , I’ve done over 100 cruises mainly on luxury ships but it seems I don’t understand what their trying to do anymore.Maybe the younger generation don’t know any different and they might get away with it .I liked the look of the ship and the layout until It came to the dining , that was it for me . 400 dollars a night In probably the only decent restaurant.

Thank you so much for your appreciation of my channel. I have worked as a business and travel journalist most of my life and had the opportunity to experience many luxury hotels all over the world. Two years ago I started IN BED WITH LUXURY. Now to your specific question: I hesitate when it comes to rankings as tastes and needs are different. When it comes to cabins and especially food at the moment Explora would be my favourite, but e.g. they do not have butler service in all categories, excursions are quite expensive. What I especially liked at Explora was the state of the art air conditioning. I very much dislike an AC that blows right into your face and gives you a sore throat. This channel is basically in English, but there are also versions in German and other languages sometimes. All the best to you and ENYOY LIFE!

Took my first and last MSC cruise last summer. It's the dollar tree of the cruising industry. A pole dancer on a portable pole was the highlight of the entertainment. The food was so bad, I couldn't wait to go thru Mcdonalds drive thru when heading home. That tells you how bad the food really was on the ship. Don't waste your money.
You have not been on this incredible ship, so please don’t comment about a new concept you have not experienced. It is an unbelievable step forward in top end cruising. I may sell my home and move in until my funds run out 😀
You're probably talking about MSC. This Explora line is part of the same company but a different branch. Like Seabourne is part of Carnival? Or is it Norweigian?
