Oh! This is a tricky one especially since at Kempinski I stayed at premium deluxe room and at Hilton I spent my stay in a big suite so it is a bit like comparing apples and oranges accommodation-wise. The same thing applies to the location but let’s start from the beginning: 1. Buildings - both I could diplomatically describe as an „aquired taste”, a taste that I don’t think I will ever aquire because I don’t find them pleasing for the eye 2. Location - I absolutely love both: Hilton - premium location in Buda, Kempinski - premium location in Pest 3. Views - assuming that you have a room with the best view (Kempinski - Erzsébet Square, Hilton - Danube river) points for Hilton becasue the view from Danube River Suite is simply spectacular (winter, spring, summer or fall). 4. Rooms - If I had to chose I would give half a point more to Kempinski because the average rooms are a bit smaller yet seem to be a bit more sophisticated visually 5. Breakfasts - both hotels have VERY decent breakfasts. My heart (my liver does not agree) goes to Hilton because of my hight status in HHonors I had access to the executive part/lounge of the restaurant where they served prosecco to breakfast. As you can see I tend to be bias and I can easily be bought with bubbles 🙂 6. Pool - there is a swimming pool at Kempinski and there is no pool at Hilton so it is a no-brainer 😊 I hope I was helpful 😊
As I will be traveling with a two years old baby, we will most likely go for a hotel located in Pest, since most of the attractions are there :) there are plenty of beautiful hotels on that side ,including brand new W hotel. It’s a tough nut to crack which one to choose 😂 unfortunately four seasons is out budget but Ritz looks amazing too :)
@@michaliwski4537 two weeks ago I took a peek inside the Ritz-Cartlton Budapest and I’d say that this one is DEFINITELY worth considering (if I may suggest) 🙂
