As an Englishman living in Australia, I never knew there were roach over here, especially in the rivers. You’ve made my day mate!!!
    Brilliant video.
Anything close to a pound is a huge fish.

Great vid mate, eat the redfin if chose and don't worry about anything apart from having a good time and sticking to the rules as you did. Good to see healthy creeks on the outskirts

please don’t release the roach, they kill the blackfish and Redfin in the creek, my house is backed into this exact location so please release the Redfin for everyone

Hi mate, that's a myth. The Roach don't kill anything. It's the Redfin that eat the Roach and Blackfish. There's also a very good population of native Galaxias here that are at risk of being decimated. Blackfish are native to this little stream whereas the Redfin are introduced. A lot better Redfin fishing close by to here anyway.

@@lukesfishing4921 us locals love catching the Redfin and so do the younger kids like me, roach dirty our waterways redfin don’t do anything to the numbers of galaxias and blackfish in our waterways - the creek is absolutely loaded of galaxias and blackfish trust me, most parts redfin can’t even access.

Redin eat everything, roach are less Impacting in creeks.

Why are you throwing back the invasive species? Redfish, Roach, Carp and all of them including trout should never be returned to the water. This is stupid fishing if you are talking about blackfish..... Stay home.

@@lukesfishing4921I've said it before, I'll say it again. It's idiots like you who are destroying out fisheries. You have no idea what you are talking about and your " I'll do what I like attitude", that goes against all conservation efforts is shithouse.
