I'm sure that setting up encampments on school grounds is a violation of school policy. The moment these encampments are put up those responsible should be held and detained. And, if the construction of sites within the site of the campus continues, those responsible should be arrested.

I’m not worried about peaceful demonstrations, I’m worried about the police being there. No reason for this- the whole point of protesting on a college campus is that it it is a “ safe place” for students to demonstrate and be seen and heard, the whole purpose is usually a noble one, and in this case, the noblest of all -to save humanity

Police are there bc protestors aren't being peaceful. The schools don't belong to protestors and defacing state property isn't legal. Look what happened at UCLA, those protestors took over like they have authority over the campus. What's the expected outcome anyway? Our lawmakers can't tell other countries to stop their violent antics, we don't own them or the world. Would divestment with companies that aren't even on my CSUS campus stop the war? ... We have it good here in the USA and people need to get their heads out of the sand to focus on issues right here at home. I'd like to see people that passionate about the country they actually live in and stop with the pretentious idea that the U.S. can fix the world.
