Hi! Thank YOU very much for all your videos! I will share when I’m on other social media and via sms to friends that like astronomy and space. The narration and stories are great, as well as the graphics/animations. How do you create the animations? Take care and thank you again! Br //M
Exploring the possibility of colonizing Europa, Callisto, and Titan is fascinating, especially considering Europa's subsurface ocean which could harbor life, and Titan's dense atmosphere and liquid methane lakes. I believe that while the extreme conditions and distance pose significant challenges, the potential for scientific discovery and the expansion of human presence in the solar system make these moons intriguing candidates for future colonization.
Conveyor you're incorrect. In our own solar system we know that they do not have cities. We're more powerful. If there is any fear it would cause us to attack and conquer resources. If there's life it's habitable. If it's habitable we would be able to study their adaptations and skin them alive to make suits for ourselves. Do not kid yourself. If they had weapons then we might fear. We fear Jupiter's magnetosphere much more than we fear alien life in this system. Even if we are concerned that life around other stars criticizes us for genocide, we can be confident that resources from Europa and Titan would bring the chances of Developing Mars from "0" to "possible" And that all of this water and fuel would be absolutely critical for sustaining Earth's economy while developing better propulsion and transportation methods. It wouldn't be extremely easy but if Europa has more salt water than Earth then we could really talk about redistributing the water while irrigating our desert lands like Mexico Mongolia Kazakhstan Iran Afghanistan Libya Algeria Somalia Ethiopia. Imagine if those countries all began looking as habitable as the Mississippi or Danube watersheds. Imagine building new Rivers on Earth. These projects could well and truly take 200 years even at optimistic pacing of very short human exploration landing of Europa and Titan in 50 years. (Rocketing there isn't the most hard part---all the equipment to make the mission able to sustain for any significant duration would be the catch. We honestly will likely opt to use drones instead of humans for Sample Retrievals full stop.) A Europa Ocean Sample Return in 75 years, by 2100, entirely roboticized, while other development goes on.....could still mean 100 more years after that of Nigerian urban development with 4 and 5 story apartments that require only one staircase. The number of significant cities in Africa could double without irrigation involving imported space rivers. (uses of Water on Earth need to be distributed among humans and marine life and for industry and not just drinking and cleaning. We take up more land than we think and we need more water than we think. We need fresh water for somethings and salt water for other things. Instead of completely purifying all of Earth's water we might well want to bring in water from Europa) (We might be able to figure out a way to better climate control the Earth by importing space Ice to save our own Ice Caps) The full colonization of Europa itself would possibly take 500 years. More likely the resources from Europa and Titan will be exploited to improve life on Earth, the Moon, and Mars before we attempt to live on Europa. But we will be going there to figure out how to mine it. And again, many of the obstacles could be resolved by building robots to do it for us instead which could be as simple as deciding Asteroid mining is cheaper than digging to the center of the Earth. We will probably find more life than we were expecting to and people's reactions to that will be at least to want pictures of it like tourists and touch it like a petting zoo. And militaries will want to study the chemicals for poison weapons and drugs and medicines. It's like what if Africa had more water and didn't have as many spears to protect itself. We will certainly pillage Europa if we can. Economic viability will concern some people but not those amenable to gambling, especially gambling with other people's money. Like governments. Being able to base weapons on Europa will control anyone colonizing Mars so the superpowers will be looking to cheat treaties with great powers. Backup plans on backup plans. If Mars is an option for everyone, the richest and most powerful will want to own Europa too.
The immediate value of the nonbiological resources that "have the possibility of sustaining life" will be treated as more important than the value of the living organisms. We don't need Europan life or Titanian life. What we need is proof the planets could foster life like ours. We could seed the Europan ocean with Terran sea and plant life to see if it populates. Very easy to destroy with poisons if we have to. Expensive but possible to purify poisoned water if we decide we want to. Thinking about it like a cruel wizard who intends to live 2000 years would, then We may expect that language itself changes in 500 years and flags in 200 years, but we can also bet that we can spread to the nearby planets and moons in the next 1000 years. 1000 years between Charlemagne and 9/1. Another 1000 from 9/11 to well colonized Mars and mining on all large Moons (Io Ganymede Callisto Europa Titan) 1000 years back from Charlemagne to Jesus. 1000 from Jesus to the Bronze Age Collapse. 1000 from the Sea Peoples to Early Civilization. So imagine where we might be in 4000 AD. The rate we are improving technology is making it assured that 3000 AD will be sufficient for flybys of Pluto to be seen by human eyes before heading home. Without question. That is why the very rich powerful elite think generationally as though they live centuries: they think of children. They think that the task will be carried on. If we can't do something in 100 years but we can do it in 105 we don't just give up. We do what we can and it might take 150. We will therefore predictably do as much as we can in the next 100 years. Light-matter, solar sails, drones, cellular signals broadcasting between the Moon and Mars, personal data streamlining Healthcare, there are multiple reasons to think that Gen Z is going to live longer than Gen Y and Gen A will live so long that they'll rethink how long adulthood should take. 25 is the new 18 and Healthcare from your parents will probably extend to age 40 which will save people lots of money. Lots of changes. Lots of them dominoing into each other. India is developing incredibly well. We can probably tank a 2nd land war in Europe this century and benefit from technologies improvements. BTW 2050 to 2075 the US won't be the only country with a military Space Force. Gen Y won't live to see most of this. We're in our 30s to 40s already and we'll be old in our 80s to 90s. But Gen Z will know that if they're not very stupid they can live to 100. Gen A will be the first generation to Expect ages above 100. It is hard to be sure of biological limits but we will be getting better across all sectors. Gen A 2010s + 100 = 2110. Gen B 2025 + 110 = 2135. 2135 will see things we think today are flatly impossible.
I think that life more complex than microbes already exists on Europa. It's a hot ocean with geysers? Geothermal vents? No asteroid impacts? Insulation from geological activities? There are lots of conditions for life. Deep sea trench life to be sure, but possibly as much as Anglerfish.
Robots could mine the asteriods n mine the moon europa for water!we need mankind to live on gamymede n callisto after being on mars for 12 years of so cause of experience of all it earths moon aswell!
If mankind could in the future to make an Titan like atmosphere in Ganymede and an Ganymede magnetic field in Titan that will be perfect, ideal, and also awesomely practical....!!!
The nations of earth formallly agreed not to colonize Antarctica to preserve it for research. Plus there are multiple reasearch communities there now. We also have everywhere else that is easier and has natural resources available like wood, coal, oil etc. Its not that we "can't", it is that it is the last place on Earth that we would want to.
Titan will be a great place to colonize in the future being the 2nd most hospitable place for humans in the solar system . If we have the nuclear powered spaceships to traverse the solar system naturally like a ship on the seas on earth, that would make it easier to deal with . With nuclear power to provide steady a power of electricity for the colony/domes base of operations etc , being able mass produce hydrogen and oxygen from water electrolysis in large reserves to have a steady suppy and back upp just in case . The oxygen is for breathing and oxidizer for fuel for land vehicles, aircrafts like airships and propeller planes etc, and space planes. The lower gravity will make it for air travel go a lot easier and efficient , with the hydrogen you can use it to lift a large airship fleet to transport things around and theres no oxygen in the atmosphere it wouldn't catch in flames hardly. The space planes can easily go back and forth from the other moons of saturn , having mining operations and research facilities etc to support the hub of human population on titan. With the huge access of 100's X of hydrocarbons we can make all the plastic we to for building and technology materials etc , which all the fuel you need for centuries to support a thriving colony in Saturn's system. With all the nitrogen and hydrocarbons with organic compounds in it you have all the fertilizer you need to grow large quantities of crops etc , if you recycle human, plant and animal waste you can mix that in the mix to ger better fertilizer soil. So basically once you the ball rolling on it and work out the kinks you can have functional sustainable colony. If you love nighttime style theme background with a rainy relax feel to it then this would be great for you. It would have sci-fi neon lights to light the cloudy misty sky , it would feel like time has slowed down with a rainy lazy day atmosphere. This just a few of the things thats cool about Titan.
If you're based in the US, can't you find someone to narrate for you instead of using an AI voice? These AI voices are kind of disturbing, like the audio equivalent of the uncanny valley, once you realise they're there, it's distracting. And every other video seems to have them🫣
Then he must find someone else to narrate or to change the way he speaks, 1st of all and most annoying is ALWAYS the very sudden and extremely loud start he has in all his video...☹️😡☹️

The presence of life would end any attempts to settle there. The risk to us, the Earth and the lifeforms there could be fatal to all.

Great video and information !
I also have videos on such interesting topics, please come and watch them
We can't colonize those moons...Then those moon men will become oppressed and have to do our work.
We definitely should consider our dwarf planet ceres, before the outer planets and moons.
The fuel resources will be needed and more profitable.
Even if we could colonize these moons. The question we need to ask. Should we colonize those moon and why?
Why not?
Absolutely we can, but that Soyuz in the thumbnail is a bit optimistic 😂
Could you make videos without the intense background music?

No. No, we could not. We can’t even colonize Antarctica, and that’s on earth.

Darn tootin' !! 😅
No.
Why? is a better question.
Europa can never be colonised. TITAN is a strong possibility.
Callisto, I think, would take less financially and building to colanize
You mean, we aren’t *allowed* to colonise Europa, right? 😛
@@whoshotdkradiation environment and the surface is shifting and cracking with giant ice shards.
never is a long time

Oh yes, with a nice Southern accent. It would be epic. 😅
