Ma première video. en 2003 donc, avec un bon vieux camescope à cassette.
Les critiques reviennent en permanence sur la musique, ce qui est finalement satisfaisant vu que j'ai fait les images. Pour explication, le son était vraiment ignoble et le montage hachurait encore plus le son naturel. J'ai donc pris le parti de mettre cette musique de fond de Sting sur la base du jeu de mot "Fields of gold". Je n'avais vraiment pas envie à ce moment de partir sur un enième morceau de musique classique :-)
J'espère que cette réponse satisfera les nombreux critiques qui s'expriment sur le sujet depuis maintenant 7 ans. Détendez vous, profitez des images et coupez le son si vous n'aimez pas. Profitez bien.
My first video. in 2003 so, with a good old camcorder cassette.
The critics keep coming back to the music, which is finally satisfying since I made the pictures. For explanation, the sound was really despicable and editing hatched even more natural sound. So I decided to put this background music from Sting on the basis of the word game "Fields of gold". I really did not want to leave on a third piece of classical music :-)
I hope this answer will satisfy the many critics who have been speaking on the subject for seven years now. Relax, enjoy the pictures and turn off the sound if you do not like it. Enjoy.

When I listen to music, I listen to music. But if I've an opportunity to listen to a volcano, then I wish to hear that. And only that. A person can hear music anytime. But few of us get to hear a force of nature such as this. Photography is great.

wow, what a video. Great shots of the flowing lava. I had no idea lava flows that fast. Crazy people standing so close.
Always be careful when you go close to a volcano. It was not my firt one. In case of doubt, stay away. The more the lava is hot, the more the speed is high, the more the color is yellow
The song gives another layer of meaning. I like It.

Cela fait de sacrés rivières de lave, j'avais vu des vidéos sur l'éruption de 2003 mais qui ne rendent pas compte de cet intense débit notamment a cause du gris marqué des coulées (couche grise supérieure) , voir d'autres vidéos de 2003 pour comprendre de quoi je parle

Images impressionnantes mais on regrette un peu l'absence d'un pied qui aurait donné des images encore plus stables. Je suis quand même étonné que l'on soit autorisé à s'approcher d'aussi près du Piton en éruption. Les projections balancent tout de même des cailloux de plusieurs kilos. Ça peut faire mal quand ça retombe ! A moins que vous ne soyez géologue ?

It's "Fields of gold" from Sting. When I made this video ( something like 2004) , my english was not very good, and the lava flow made me think about a river of gold...
