Always loved The Beach Boys. I totally agree with you. If Brian wants to do it, then let him do it as long as he wants to. Don't put limits on anybody, and there won't be any regrets.
Brian is being milked for every last dollar- the man is using a walker for Chrissakes - do you really believe he's enjoying this-he's being humiliated very sad
My perception is that Brian will sing until his last day. He's very brave and an inspiring example. I am really positively jealous of his zeal. After all, he loves the music and he sings to please and comfort us: his all-time commitment. I wept a lot when I heard your comforting music. Like when I missed my brothers all week when they went to boarding school in the 60's, and in many other difficult and even beautiful moments in my life. Your music is a balm to my heart. Thank you Brian, i love you so much ! I wish that i could sing like you at that age ( 80 ) ! All the best , lots of love from Flanders, Belgium and may you have the long life ! May JHVH bless you !
Mike the drummer has been playing with Brian for twenty some years so he's been performing...as Brian Wilson, funny how the other Beach Boy seem to show up at "his" concerts... They might be a thought of as a California Band but Florida digs....this surf's up music too... young and old! Long live the sound! I worked in Len Cramers' Surf, Sun and Fun shop here in Lauderdale heck 57 years ago...when he flew Surfboards in from California... my kids grew up listening to Little Deuce Coupe!
I feel like this is wrong. He shouldn't be on tour anymore..he's 80 years old and in poor health. Let the man rest. He has nothing to prove and at this point we're really just paying to be in his presence. I saw him a about a year and a half ago and he was in bad physical shape but he sang his heart out. In that year he has declined in health and he should be home with his family and grandkids. Brian is my all-time favorite musician and person. It's time we let him rest. Love you Brian !
@@PrincessNottingham because if you've seen him recently, he doesn't look like he wants to be there....I saw him last year and while he did sing, he looked tired, he didn't touch the piano, and also literally came out with a walker and escort... I just believe that he doesn't really wanna be there....it's no secret that he's never really enjoyed touring for extended periods of time...he likes to be in his own environment...watch some interviews with him and you'll see that
Anybody notice at 3:08 Al helping Brian with the "so tan" line he kinda shakes his head in disappointment when Brian is having trouble. I hope I'm wrong.. And it's time to call it quits Brian.. It's been a beautiful run...
It wouldn't surprise me if Al was disappointed by that. I attended this tour and the night I saw them when Brian got confused, Al verbally made a comment after the song, "I hope you come back to us, Brian!" I imagine it is frustrating for Al to watch his friend and bandmate seem so far gone.
I disagree. I saw them in person last October. And they were great. Everyone had a great time. I got to see a living legend. If you want perfection go listen to a record. Brian has come a long way to be able to be on stage again. I admire him.
@@dianestrouse3418 I admire him as well. Enough to know that this is an affront to his legacy and dignity. Hard to know how he feels - maybe he enjoys it - maybe he's having the time of his life, but I can't help but feel that if 25 year-old Brian Wilson were to see this, he'd be horrified. He was performing reasonably well up until 10 years ago or so, but this is just painful - for him, his band-mates and likely for the audience, I would think. Certainly is for me. To everything there is a season - and a time to step down.
@@ytnsanw - Well it isn't "25 year old Brian". It's still Brian Wilson doing what Brian Wilson want's to do. It's his choice. Don't like it? Don't watch it.
His crew call it a Privacy cloth. People in the first 5 or 6 rows sitting directly in front of him can only see his legs & the top portion of the piano. His face is mostly blocked because of the height of the stage. He just doesn't want people staring at his legs the whole time.
If you can have a President who hasn't got a clue what's happening, with his finger on the nuclear button, don't tell me that you can't have 2 brilliant musicians performing just because they are the "wrong side" of 70.
I kid you not this was one of his best vocal performances lately. I was at this show. I was stunned how long he kept singing in this song. He normally will do one verse and then stop
Literally EVERY stage performer has been reading lyrics off a monitor for a lot longer than 22 years, including Brian at this concert. He was not forgetting words. He simply did not have the stamina to finish the lines.
I saw Brian, with the rest of this Band, 07 Jun 22. Was a BUCKET LIST show! Phoenix Ak Chin Pavilion. Like I said, BUCKET LIST! Brian has been going downhill, ever since Dennis Carl, and Carl Dean left. I think Dennis and Carl were there in spirit! For the next concert, I think Terry Kath was also there. Yep, WilsAgo! Wilson and Chicago! TWO bucket list concerts in a single evening. An amazing evening, with two bands "past their prime." "LOVE"d every minute. So GLAD Mikey was NOT there. Sorry, no "love" for him! steve
What a disgrace this is these guys should be ashamed of themselves. Brian hobbling on stage in a walker. He sits there in a coma unaware of is surroundings. What's wrong with these people.
Because life is a circle, and he's doing a great job in the final stretch. Stop thinking on Greatest Moments. You don't see people dissing Einstein in his last years.
An incredible California born and bred music legend singing the soundtrack of our lives.....God bless you Brian
Seeing him walk on stage just brought a tear to my eye. Pray for this man.
People who loved his music are telling him he can't perform? He has the right to do what makes him happy!
Always loved The Beach Boys. I totally agree with you. If Brian wants to do it, then let him do it as long as he wants to. Don't put limits on anybody, and there won't be any regrets.
What joy The Beach Boys and their music brought into my life!
Thank you Brian you were a big part of my life in the 60's and always will be.............Peace

@@frankrosa7047 - If you think that Brian didn't do this because he loved it, you're a nut job whose full of crap.
The genius we know is fading away right in front of our eyes. He's such a tormented man and wish all of his problems would go away.
Hey if Brian has the ballz to go on... People should appreciate that fact.
I have never forgotten this song, it was summer of '65 when it came on the radio.
He sucks totally anymore
Makes me proud to be a born and bred California girl. Still live here. Thanks Brian ❤

Born in CA...raised in CA...still loving Beach boys songs in CA !
Just Brian and Al...and 15 other world class musicians
Heard Brian's band with Al Jardine just a couple years before this. Way better than the touring Beach Boy's band! This group rocked!
I love how the team show respect - lovely performance
GOD BLESS HIM.. CHERISHED MOMENTS FROM LOVELY TIMES GONE BY..BUT ..NEVER FORGOTTEN..
