    I'd love to see us trade down a few slots. It would seem we'd still have a good shot at a high level OT if we move back to 17 or 18 while receiving more day 2 picks. Then we can be creative and have flexibility to make more moves up.

    If The Saints are in need for an under sized pass catching TE/H-Back, just sit back to round 5 or move up to round 4.
    Dallin Holker, Colorado ST., was the leading TE receiver in the country in 2023. 64 Rec. 767 Yards & 7 TDs.
    6' 4" 245 lbs. 4.80 40 time. Great hands and a knack for finding open space in a zone. Massive sleeper potential.
    Holker's teammate DE/OLB Mo Kamara 13 sacks, 17 TFL 2023 & 56 Tackles. Great edge rusher with an explosive first step. R 4 to 5.

    Drafting a TE @ pick 14 would a awful move for the Saints. Fuaga, Fushauna or Latham would be more logical choices in RD 1.

    If tackle is as deep as he just said why not trade down 10 or more picks and get some more capital in this draft and a 1st in next year's draft

    If Bowers and several are the tackles are still there I’d love to see them trade down to 17 with Jags ( get picks 96 and 114, give up 150) or trade down to 18 with Bengals get 80 and 115, give up 150 and 170. This lines up with the draft chart and in both cases we pick up a third and a fourth.

    If Bowers is available at 14, I’d get him. Would be good for them if they drop a little of next years draft capital to get another first rounder and get a tackle.

  • @morethanenoughwoodworks7654

    All I know is we have 2 decent pics and then we sit till the 5th round. Maybe we take 3 5th rounders and move up into the 3rd? But with the 14th and 45th picks we must (MUST) take 2 offensive linemen. We need a starting Left AND Right tackle and we need them NOW. Penning is not an NFL tackle, and RR is done, he has no cartilage left in his knee. Penning MAY be able to play guard, and even that's not a certainty. We can't run the ball or throw it to anyone (including Brock Bowers) if we don't have starting caliber tackles. Our guards are less than stellar as well. Our O-line is an EMERGENCY at this point. If we are able to trade up into R3, then maybe the 45th pick can be a WR. DT or TE- but if only have 14 and 45 until the 5th - we HAVE to get 2 Olineman.

    I'm pissed, they should have drove to the basket for 2, to at least tie the game and potentially force them to foul for a 3 point play. Ingram should have had the ball. Poor play calling at the end.

    I think the Saints should try to trade for Jack Conklin from the Browns if he's healthy. He plays RT you could plug him in and let Penning learn from him on the that side

    • @user-im6wy4bk7w
      @user-im6wy4bk7w Месяц назад

      I kinda agree with Conklin, but how much would he cost. And I'd rather consider one of the top 4 OT's to learn from Conklin other than Penning.. I have a feeling the Saints are gonna try him at Guard.

    Man, I hope Bowers is off the board when it's our turn to pick. I'm sick of the media fawning over an undersized tight end who isn't overly explosive or a tremendous blocker. He's not a generational tight end. He's not Kelce or Kittle. He's not Hockensen , dude isn't even Mark Andrews. He's basically Jace Amaro 2.0 or a slow vanilla Juwan Johnson. Tip Reiman,Theo Johnson, Jaheim Bell, and Ja'Tavion Sanders are more explosive than Bowers.

      @kip2shy from one veteran to another, we will agree to disagree. How many great college players turned out to be average when they got to they pros? He's 6'3 240 not overly fast, and he's a willing blocker, but let's be honest, he won't blow any edge rushers off the line of scrimmage. This guy is basically another Jace Amaro.

    I will be sick to my stomach if we take Bowers at 14, Kyle Pitts was supposed to be a generational talent, TEs dont translate as easy, Fashanu, Fuaga or Fatanu, 2nd i like Coleman, Corley or Lagette early, Luke McCaffrey and Cephus.. Burton and Sweat will drop bc of DUI, character concerns and I like both..

    Not sure who needs to hear this you don’t have to go takle at 14 just to go takle. Oline is one of the easiest positions to draft later in draft and find starters . U don’t just draft Takle just to draft it if there are better players/ aren’t takles worth the 14 pick . This is such a deep draft of linemen
