I heard the Lord tell me to “praise me” and I was to tired, and didn’t know, that was my instruction and now I’m hearing you say “The Lord wants us to praise Him” makes me feel so bad… I’m going through, and I would usually praise Him no matter what! But I’m human some days I just feel depleted/empty!

Nobody can “turn away from sins”. Repentance means a change of mind. Change of mind about wanting to sin. That doesn’t mean we won’t sin. Jesus Christ alone makes us righteous. If we say we have no sin, the truth is not within us. I don’t want to sin, but I still do... just like Paul in Romans 7. We don’t have to continually beg for forgiveness from God. We are already covered by the blood of the Lamb. The will of the Father is to “believe in Him who was sent”. Be careful not to cross into legalism and Phariseeism.

Forgiveness doesn't always require reconciliation because two can't walk together unless they are in agreement. If someone refuses to take accountability for their actions and turn away from sinful behaviors, then we're called to forgive but go separate ways.
You are not a punching bag and it's ok to have boundaries and guard your heart.
Be encouraged
Hopefully, you can try to have as little contact with them as possible. But this is difficult when it's family.
When you forgive, you don't always have to let the person back into your life. If you do, you may need to establish healthy boudaries. If they do not respect them, you should consider distancing yourself from that person.
We are called to forgive, not be everyone's friend and certainly not a doormat.
