Lyrics:
[Intro: Cherrelle]
It's been a long time
I didn't think I was going to see you again
I see you haven't changed
It's good to see you anyway
[Chorus x2:]
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Thursday, Friday, Saturday love
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Thursday, Friday, Saturday love
[Verse 1: Cherrelle]
When I think about you
My feelings can't explain
Why after all this time
My heart still feels pain
[Hook:]
When I look at you
Memories of love
Like no one before
You stay on my mind
(Special feelings, special time)
Always so special
(I was yours and you were mine)
Made for each other
(All the good I won't forget)
You will stay on my mind
(Saturday, the day we met)
For always
And forever
You will be my Saturday love
[Repeat Chorus:]
[Verse 2: Alexander O'Neal:]
When I think about you
My feelings can't explain
Why after all this time
My heart still feels pain
[Hook:]
When I look at you
Memories of love
Like no one before
You stay on my mind
(Special feelings, special times)
Feeling so special
(I was yours and you were mine)
Made for each other, girl
(All the good I won't forget)
Staying on my mind, girl
(Saturday, the day we met)
Girl, you know I can't leave you behind
There's never any question
You will be my Saturday love
[Repeat Chorus:]
[Cherrelle:]
When I look at you
Special feelings, special times
I thought we'd always be together
But sometimes things just
Don't work out like we planned
Life goes on and people grow
Out of things
That fit before
But Saturday remains the same
And I hope it'll never change
[Bridge: Cherrelle and Alexander O'Neal]
For always and forever
You will be my (you will be my)
You will be my (you will be my)
You will be my (you will be my)
Be (be my Saturday love)
My Saturday love
[Cherrelle:]
Do do do do
Let's sing it together
[Cherrelle and Alexander O'Neal:]
Never on Sunday
Monday's too soon
Tuesday and Wednesday
Just won't do
Thursday and Friday
We can begin
But our Saturday love
Will never end, sugar

I feel sorry for this current generation. They will never know how lit the club scene was in the late 80s and 90s was.
It was more pure Back then and connection was about love, not who was the hardest out with guns and knife
I know that’s right 🎉😂
@@glecservices3114 You're right! It was a huge spirit of romance and seeing couples everywhere(normal ones) back then!
@@littleknome7444]l)
@@glecservices3114 More pure? With all the coke of the 80s/90s floating around? Maybe people were actually dancers back then, but I wouldn't say purer. Less violent? Maybe.
all those people you are watching, are now hitting 60, time flies....the 80tis were paradise we were young and beautiful...
yes we were
OMG, that is So True. I've just hit the big 6-0, and I frequently listen to this magnificent music, and think back to those amazing days of the wonderful 80s. From 1980 to '89....it all seems like another life now.
So thankful that the 80s was my Era.
😂 I still am lol

THIS WAS EARLY 90S.
That scene with Halle is an all time classic. The hair style, the look...absolutely beautiful

Whoever edited this movie for this song is a genius. The club scene is so in sync i thought it was the actual song for the movie. 😮
This song is almost 40 years old. It still sounds great!
This will always sound great! Especially today when we don't have new music.

Halle Berry one of the most beautiful woman ever.
Back when people actually went to the club to have a good time. Best years ever ❤
I cannot remember going to a club in the 70s-80s thinking I might get shot!

*I DO NOT CARE!!* Halle Berry will forever be one of my "top ones" on my celebrity crush list, and this video is a reminder why lol.. that woman is fine! 🔥
Love the remembrance of the 90s club scene. Thats how we stayed thin, we were always at the club dancing.
Who told us to get old?😢😢
Yes lord..the 90s partying was everything

'Strictly Business' was a movie my parents played on repeat. At that time, I didn't get the whole Halle Berry thing (I was 5). As an adult, I totally see it as well as can identify as thw guy in the suit. Gonna have to check this movie out.
I miss back in the day when everybody had their own style.
Today everybody tries to look alike.
It was the same back then. And that’s why she cut her hair short because all the Black actresses in Hollywood at that time trying out for the same few roles all looked exactly alike then too.
@@noble604 I guess so. I just remember people cutting hair. They barely wanna give you a trim. $20.00 extra for a trim? I do my own hair now.
Early 90s movie and music...70s, 80s, and early to mid-90s the music in all genres was off the hook!
Saturday night love by Alexander o neal and Cheryl 1985 l have got it on vinyl
The movie came out in the 90's tho. It's called Strictly Business
Forts tats song
At that time Halle Berry was the most beautiful woman on earth, hands down!
En que time no lo fue?
*I don't know about that one but she was definitely one of the most beautiful.*
Then Jada came on the scene and blew everybody away. Like her or not it can't be denied that in the 90's she was THAT bitch!
My first celebrity crush. I wasn't feeling Topanga or Phoebe Cates like the other 80s kids. This was the first movie I ever saw Halle Berry in and when she walked into that cafe, I was like "WHO IS THAT?" and "I LIKE WOMEN!" No Diddy, never was, but Halle was like my first wife in my heart.
@@MrEXtraRawAnd everything on her was real.
That slow motion opening...wow the lighting on Halle. ❤
I love the 80s, the music and the style.
Back then we worked all week Monday thru Friday...and then Friday night comes along and it's all over, clubbing, to beach. What else is left? The 80s will never die especially that's when the real music and bands stopped.
i was born in 1987. but I think that from 1985 to 2000 - the best years for the people of America
I was 18 in 1987 and you’re right. After 9-11 it all went downhill
not just for people of usa for other country's too uk England
i was born in 1985. I agree whole heartedly
@skeezix8156 i agree the world changed drasticly after 9-11 in every aspect, culturally, musically, technologically etc
And Halle Berry still looks fine till this day.
Black don't crack!!! Take a bow....Cherrelle, Alexander O'Neal, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
who else is here for the stunningly beautiful halle berry
That club was LIVE i wish i could go to a party like that these days
I partied in the 90's IT WAS AMAZING..came home drenched to your underwear from dancing all nite..
You can't....too much violence, drinks being poisoned etc.,
Such an amazing song still resonates today!!!!
This should have been the music video for the song. Thanks for the double dose of NOSTALGIA FEVER. The Song - Cherelle and Alexander bringing it on and the Movie clip - Just Business. Awesome...Really really awesome.
Strictly business 🙌🏽 I use to watch this over and over back in the day ❤
Halle Berry is just the most beautiful women I've ever scene ever!
Man in this scene the club has released the Kraken. This is what I remember in my clubbin days😂😂😂
To bad Denise Huxtable husband that played him is a TIM SCOTT kind of Republican.
And What's wrong with that? Everybody Black is not a Democrat.
Back when BBL wasn't a thing. Real hair, natural color. No giraffe eyelashes. Weaves. Wigs. No twerking in public restaurants. No hot girls summer. Just Classy, Beautiful, Feminine, Inspirational and soft.
What do you mean
Hallie was on another level of beauty insane 🙏🏿🙏🏿 what an icon awesome actress with majestic beauty
Wayman Tinsdale was every man who caught sight of Halle berry........ absolutely stymied

Those days were beautiful. Fun times, great music, great company, real women with real bodies 😀, great culture without the shootings and social media, no cells phones held up recording. Just living life!
It was crazy right? We had no cell phones or videos, just stories and "you should've been there."
Bose Head phones on, beer in hand, dancing with my eyes close, remembering the 80's.....life was good.....

80's music was the BEST
Fun Fact: At one point, A.J. Johnson (Sharane-House Party) was cast as Natalie for Strictly Business. She fell out wìth the dìrector, he fired her, Neĺson George fired the director, and hired Halle Berry.
Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were Relentless = everything they wrote, produced & played-on, was just "Killer" = Big Facts oNe LovE from NYC
You can’t tell me them 90’s style girls wasn’t the flyest girls ever..
