I'd say the P3 movies do, for sure. But I'd say as far as games go, P5's ost blows P3's out of the water. As a general rule though, I actually didn't like much of anything from the P3 games (and I did play them back around when they came out, so it's not like I was spoiled by the quality of life improvements from the newer games when I decided it wasn't my thing), but I loved the P3 movies, so I might be biased.
Nathan Trombley I think persona 3’s music was better because of how perfectly its songs in themselves symbolized the protagonists character development while at the same time being absolute bangers. Persona 5 kind of did this but not nearly to the same extent, it more just had music that was like, in the real world it’s all calm, BUT IN DA METAVERSE WE ARE ALL COOL AND BOMBASTIC. This isn’t a problem with persona 5’s music because it still does musical storytelling very well (best example being beneath the mask); I just think persona 3 does something much more unique in that category and brings more to the table.

Legitimately hope the P3 Remake (it's inevitable at this point) takes cues from the Movies tbh. Reanimate the cutscenes to match them and add/rearrange music like this song to be used in pre-existing scenarios (or fuck it, make NEW timeline-compliant scenarios to fit them in). Seriously, all 4 of the Movie soundtracks are way too overrated (EDIT: I meant underrated, I'm just a dumbass lmao) so being used in P3RE would actually help counter that
Months later and well, Reload took A LOT of cues from the movies when directing the 3D rendered cutscenes. Nothing about music, but the inspiration is there
it's unbelievable how underrated this is
Official lyrics:
We're walking through the darkest valley
Hater's loose far from finale
So uncanny that I got this crew man this movement
So exclusive
My matter so effusive
So damn loud pardon my music
I worked alone guess I wasn't used to
Doing a collabo in a lab whose amusing
It shone the light in my blindness
The guidance to my dynasty
But honestly
We constantly enjoyed our chemistry
Water settles in dry sand quick to become dirt by suction
Changes inevitable but it don't mean malfunction
I walk
I walk this dark valley
Cold wind blows out the light of joy
In starless sky
I rejoice our memories
Strength that stays in my heart
Elevated, what's deep down inside me
Celebrate it what we got us going for the moment
Demonstrate it, to these heads who came and violate it
About to battle fake ass shadows
We're ready for whatever follows
We leader you just swallow
We are full you just shallow
But we forgive we shall take you as a fellow member
I never liked to hate cuz emotions viral so contagious
Good god gracious, soul I spread is Mediarama
That's my basis
A series of spontaneous changes life sometimes instantaneous
Some stay fearless some got vicious I got more serious this time
Parting ways in a good term
Used to be a bit concerned
Haters' burning jealousies so damn dirty
Seen my old friends turn
Foes oh my goodness no I had faith in these dogs
Ended up drastically changing or returning
Back to weak foes
Though I knew for sure that this ain't the
Case we still cool
Our history's timeless
What we got here's never removed
I walk
I walk this dark valley
Cold wind blows out the light of joy
In starless sky
I rejoice our memories
Strength that stays in my heart
Road less destiny may separates us
However there are bonds
That remain tight forever
This friendship's gold I treasure in my heart
So even if you have to go
Won't be afraid to say goodbye no more
I never realized the spell
Madiarama was actually a lyric in this song
I’VE...
...FINALLY...
FOUND IT!
I see you all the time on Twitter my mans lmao

P3 HAS MORE BANGERS THAN P5 CHANGE MY MIND
I agree 100%
That's impossible! The Persona series cannot rival itself.

Don’t have to.

This should be persona 3 remastered boss fight theme or makoto yuki 's past theme. I have high hope one day persona 3 remastered will release....
Good thing it won the remake and remaster vote
Those usually mean nothing sadly.
@Miunim what remaster vote?
